This battery grip creates electrical noise and banding in all images. Defective from the minute I installed it on my Sony A7III. Unfortunately, I did not begin using the unit until after the return deadline had passed, so I am now having to deal with a customer service department which has thus far failed to respond to Amazon’s request for service on my behalf. Very frustrating, but I’ve learned not to purchase third party camera accessories from now on. This is junk!,UPDATE: Contacted Amazon and then seller with regard to defective battery grip. Once tests determined that the defect was indeed in the grip and not in the batteries, seller expedited a replacement grip under the company's one year warranty. New battery grip is now performing flawlessly and all photos are noise-free, as they should be. While the battery grip is not exactly on par with the Sony OEM product 9but not NEARLY as expensive, either), I've given the product a 5-Star review based on excellent customer service. Great product for the money and excellent customer service. That's more than I can say for Sony's CSR's.

This was value added to my camera and really like the dynamics it’s provided for my shots. The ergonomics of the grips were great but for what I paid for this product and what other products are like out there, I’m a satisfied customer although the material does feel a bit of the cheap side making me feel if it drops it’ll be destroyed. So far no drops on my side :)

Malfunctioning straight out of the box ...I keep getting incompatible battery screen with the batteries it comes with and my two original Sony batteries:/ Will have to return cause I don’t need anew paper weight

I really liked the quality of the grip, the only thing I found fault with this package is not to come with the battery charger, making it necessary to purchase one.I have not yet tested the quality of the batteries, I will do the test at a wedding and come back to tell if they are good.

Love the replacement buy keep popping up a notification when use.

Feel like the sony grip.When shooting landscape make sure to turn off the grip control.
