Very easy to read in the care of Garter and Water snakes. I recommend this book to others as a new snake handler.

This is a good book which covers the bases, but it is quite old and contains some slightly out-dated advice (don't feed your garter cat food, and not all fish contain thiaminase). But I'm happy to have this on my shelf.

Gives you information you need that's easy to understand. It's a good book to have.

I keep garter snakes and wanted to get this book to learn some basics and well just for the pictures of different species.Most information is online but I love having books too.I love the other books in this series and have many, this was not possible to find here at the time I ordered from here.

Look for a different book or information online. Seems like old info, not a natural healthy environment or feeding information.

Great little book full of information on keeping these snakes. I have a few of these books regarding other snake species and they are ideal for the avid collector.
