Know your flares before ordering sae or din ?
After trying to achieve din bubble flares without the proper tool i wasn't prepared to risk using the lines i made. I ordered this and was producing perfect din bubble flares in less than 24hrs this eliminating any doubt about my previous flares because who wants to be driving a 2 ton box with dodgy brake linesThere arent any instructions but was pretty easy to work out cut the line with a pipe cutter and de bur with a file and clean out the edge with a counter sinck bitPut the silver nut in the tool this is a bump stop for the pipe to ensure its lined up correctly you can also see how stright the end of the pipe isClamp the pipe into the tool with a 10mm spannerRemove the silver nutDab some special die grease on the end of the black die and fit into the tool ensuring it doesn't foul the pipeScrew the black die in with a 17mm spanner backing off every so often until you get to the endRemove from tool to find a perfect din bubble flare dont forget to fit the connector to the pipe before flaring the pipeOverall a very well made tool very good quality khs are a French company thanks

Great price - fantastic tool, easy to use, 10/10
Bought a more expensive one elsewhere and it made horrible ends, you would worry every time you hit your brakes.A friend recommended KS and it turned up fast, the price was amazing. Thought I’d cut off a few ends and practice a bit after the last tool. Turned out I just wasted pipe, made 4 perfect ends - cut both in half and 8 perfect din ends. The grease was a nice touch, easy to remove the moulding bit - if you have never used these kind of tools, silver bit sets the depth - clamp in your pipe with in in. Remove the silver bit, grease up the black moulding bit and simply screw it in with a spanner. Makes perfect din ends every time.Next best tip - on a hot summer’s day do not let your puppy Rottweiler sleep under your van, brake pad low detector lit up 2 weeks ago, ate the wire. This week she ate the brake line, brown trousers time when the pedal hits the floor, lol. Back on the road tomorrow thanks to you guys, off work for a week and only lost two days.If I ever need another tool for my van I’m just going to go to KS first.

Worth every penny, perfect flares every attempt.
Gives perfect flares every time, worth that little extra cost for a perfect finish, i have tried the cheaper tools available and they really are hit and miss ( off centre flares , deformed edges etc) however i did a complete set of bmw 5 series brake lines from abs module to calipers front and rear with this tool and it was right first time every time with no drama.

Value for Money
Expensive for what it is. Works OK for the brake line I had to make for car to pass MOT. Doubt if I'll use it again!
