Works perfect...as long as you wire it correctly. Connect "com" and either NO or NC. It's a little annoying that the switching connector is stacked on top of the com. You have to connect the com first. Don't forget to add a diode to protect the coil. There is a good youtube video as to why it's a good idea..

Good Basic 24VDC Relay - DIN Rail Mount DPDT
If you are lost, this may help. Good price for most applications, BUT polarity on input is not reversible. Pin 8 is DC (+) Input, Pin 7 is DC (-) Dual contacts the circuits appear to be independent. 2 Normally Open (NO) Pin 5-to-3 and 6-to-4 2 Normally Closed (NC) Pin 5-to-1 and 6-to-2
