Fits perfect, but there is a flaw
Buy the insurance. I think that there is a flaw in the design. As the shroud is lifted it puts torque on the nut that is embedded in the plastic and may fail. I had mine for only 2 years, and really, only used it a few times every few months and it failed. If they would have extended the arm's opening just a 1/16 longer it wouldn't put so much pressure on that connection at the end of the downward stroke of the blade. Just my observation.

As advertised but very expensive
Was original CE parts fit perfectly. But a little pricey. When harbor freight sold a few Chicago Electric parts they were substantially less expensive. But now you have to get them from 3rd party sellers at a double premium. WILL NOT BUY ANYMORE CHICAGO ELECTRIC TOOLS!!!

My husbands saw.
My husband has this saw that this fits. His original one on the saw broke, so we ordered it here on Amazon. Very fast shipping and a great price. So convenient.

fit perfectly
a little on the expensive side, but to operate the mitre saw without a guard would be dangerous, so....

Eat Replacement
Perfect replacement. I had no issues replacing the old broken blade cover wuthering this one. Highly recommend.

Fit great
Perfect replacement part for Chicago Electric 12 miter saw. Wish part was a little more sturdier, but felt just like original part.
