Dropped from a foot high and the base broke into pieces
The sound is not too bad. There is a bass boost option. The sound is flat without out it, but too bass'ey with it. The FM tuner is hit and miss. It's pretty fussy. you can move the speaker around a little to pickup stations. The sound does get very loud. would work out great for those who like to listen loud. The thing feels sturdy enough, but I dropped it one time while carrying it in one hand at my side. The bottom of the speaker could not have been more than 1 foot off the ground. When it hit the ground, plastic pieces flew everywhere. I was shocked! i didn't throw it or anything. It didn't fall far or hard at all, but half of the bottom plastic was cracked and broken in pieces. For the price, this thing should be rugged. Very upset with the build quality. I can't recommend this thing, solely based on the build quality.

elsewhere garbage,
died after 3 months, garabge, volume was cracky, support even worse, save money, believe reviews. total off shore stuff. (Chinese quality).

Good speaker
Sound is good. However max volume is distorted especially with bass boost on. Battery seems to be holding up good. The fact I can add a mic to it for parties is awesome. Havent used the magnet or bit holes but that's not why I bought it anyway. It will fill a large room with rich sound and decent bass.

Looks and sounds sharp, I paid more for the Ion Raptor speaker and much preferred this Garage Rocker! Thank you Amazon!
