Great purchase that pays for itself.
Blades last long as well as you get it set right, easy to take care of, and works as well as you can use it. There’s a tiny learning curve in terms of adjusting it, but I got the hang of it in around 15 minutes.I recommend having either a large battery, multiple good sized ones, or a mixture. I used a 60v 9 AH battery to strip for about 8 hours and only dropped a bar. Throw in my 5 ah battery, and I could probably strip non stop.

Works Great, Durable, Long Lasting.
Got this for a friend and he has put many, many hours and thousands of feet of up to 4 gauge stranded wire through this wire stripper and it still works perfectly. This tool has paid for itself many fold in time savings alone. We give the Stripmeister FOUR thumbs up, cuz theres two of us. We would absolutely recommend this product to anyone looking for a great quality tool!

Be Patient
This stripper works well. set up gets easier overuse. Each operator will be different, for me, learning about the feed speed was the challenge. The final strip on Romex wire. too fast and the wire "walks" out from under the cutter wheel. Once dialed in on cutter depth and speed, we could run whatever length we had.Common sense " straighten the kinks out during the feed" I have run hundreds of feet of different gauge wire thru this little "big" unit, and I'm pleased with its delivery.

Great value for your money 💰
Wire striping ability is maximum quality. The design is genius because you can mount and carry with you anywhere. You also count with easy adjustment to many wire sizes.

Why didn't I buy this years ago?!
I am an electrician specializing in remodel projects, so I am always pulling out old wire and recycling it. I have thought about getting a stripping machine for a while, but always thought I needed a big and expensive one. I finally broke down and thought I would give one of these smaller ones a try, and like others have said: why didn't I get one of these years ago?! It works well, and strips wire much faster than I could with a utility knife, and much safer, too.The unit is small, but that is a plus, not a minus. It is well built, with good milling of the solid aluminum frame and moving parts that fit tight but move easily. I bolted mine down to a small block of wood just big enough to hold it and the drill to run it. I can then clamp the unit to a work bench or stand, and easily store the assembly away when I am done with it.I will say that it can be a little finicky. Although the feed angle is not super-critical, it does matter for how well the material feeds through and, if set poorly, can cause the wire to slip to the side of the cutter wheel. Also, stripping smaller stranded wire (so far in the #14 - #12 range, I haven't tried others yet) requires much more accuracy with the cutting wheel, otherwise you end up with a lot of copper slivers as the wheel will cut the strands as well as the insulation. However, it doesn't take a lot to fine tune the adjustments, and once set, it runs really well. Therefore, any other reviewers stating they are having trouble with the wire not staying under the cutting wheel is simply not paying attention to their setup.Although I would not consider this is to be a production stripper, I have managed to strip thousands of feet of wire in just a couple of days. There are a couple of things this little stripper will struggle with, such as stripping the outer jacket of round multi-wire (aka 3-wire plus ground) cables, but again, with a little but of tweaking, it took me less than a minute to set up and strip over 100' of 12/3 that was probably made in the 70's or 80's, which has a much thicker jacket and a lot more paper filler inside, so it was quite a challenge. Once the inside wires were separated, I was able to just run individual wire after wire, and a couple of minutes later, I had several more pounds of bare copper in the pile.Overall, in a couple of days I will have finished what would have taken me weeks to do, plus I will get more money per pound for the stripped wire than if I didn't strip it, so this little unit has pretty much paid for itself in no time. If you are in the market for stripping a fair amount of wire, but not looking to make a living out of it (need a bigger machine for that), this little unit will certainly do the trick.

Amazing for small gauge wire.
I bought this because i was spending 3-4 hours a day to salvage 5lbs of 12&14 gauge wires by hand. I had tried other manual strippers with different designs and had no success. This machine let me do an entire week of stripping, about 30 lbs, in a mear 5 hours with no mess and intact hands. Even stripped the 18 gauge super nicely without any major struggle. The blade is also completely undamaged after. The double adjustable design with the faceplate and blade depth made it super easy to adjust between types of wire, and was so quick that i didn't even bother sorting the material after a while. Some pro tips because some people have struggled with the small wire,1. For 18 gauge short length wire it is sometimes easier to feed it through the back to keep it on the V track.2. Adjust the blade to just cut through the plastic of the wire and no deeper, if you see copper you have gone way too far. You'll splinter the wire and hurt the blade in the long run. Pulling the wire apart is super satisfying anyway lol.3. For larger wire like 2/0 you can pass it through the machine twice, flip the wire upside down and cut both sides at a shallow depth and you will be able to rip it in 2 halves without ever hitting the copper. All the time it saved me already is worth every penny, if I had more than 60lbs a week I'd consider buying their upgraded model as im sure it would be a lot of fun.
