It’s a tool roll
Perfect tool roll for Flexcut knives. It stinks to high heaven when you first open the package, but it goes away in a couple of weeks.

Nice knife roll, but not for me.
Bought these to store a few Flexcut gouges that I picked up at a yard sale. My only gripe is that the fabric is not as pliable as I had hoped making it difficult to roll up. As it turned out, one gouge cut the fabric on the initial use. It will serve the purpose for which I intended, but a cotton duck fabric would have been better option and will be the next purchase.

Much better choices out there.
This is some very cheesy material. It is stiff, It doesnt hold the tools well. Even the Beavercraft knife roll is an upgrade and 1/2 the price. This is a total shame on an American company. They can do better.Bottom line, POS. Dont waste your money.

Flaws in design and material.
So I received the Flex Cut starter carving set for Christmas this year. I thought it'd be a good idea to get a roll to keep them in since these are for in the house and not in my shop. The pockets are very tight so they hold the knives well. However, lets say you try to be safe and push the knives in blade-first....the blade cuts right through the roll material. So you flip them over and push them in handle first. The only way to safely remove them is by clasping the blade with your fingers since the handle is not exposed enough to grab safely without slipping. My final complaint is I would expect the top to fold over the knives to keep them in after the pockets have stretched and loosened. Nope, the top is not long enough to fold over after the knives are inserted. Poor design, poor materials. Maybe it's not designed for my knives. If it is for just certain tools it should say so.

Hmm Not Sure Yet
After some using this pouch, at first I didn’t care for it.I discovered I was using it the wrong way and now find it holds my knives much better.Still not sure about the material. But is well manufactured. Will recommend this to anyone who need protective sleeves. For the price it is worth the investment.I will be using it for my knives. With a little more use, I have discovered the reason behind the stiff material used for this knife roll is to keep the knives from slipping out.It tends to secure the tools a little more securely than a canvas roll.Don’t think of it as a cheap plastic roll.It is stiffer roll made for the Flexcut tools. To protect them from falling out and damaging the blades.Mark

Cheap plastic
Seems like a good idea, until you put your knives in. One of the pockets got sliced open immediately because I was trying to store everything safely. Don't waste your money, get leather or canvas.

Works Great, One Minor Flaw
The roll is as depicted, and works very well. The one flaw is that even if you tie the bundle tightly, if you invert the roll tools can and will fall out. I was lucky and my detail knife wasn't damaged, but it could very well happen if you're not careful or accidentally pick it up the wrong side up.

GREAT CARVING TOOLS
My father-in-law was a great carver, and he had several sets of different tools. He rarely if ever used any but the flexcut. They make a great gift for anyone .
