I ordered this case seeing the negative reviews and was afraid that it would have all the issues that other people had reported, however, after being out of stock for several days, I believe the product was updated by the manufacturer. The case is very slim, and the magnetic sleep/wake cover works well and holds closed. Several other reviews claim that the corners do not snap on, and that the cover is the wrong shape or size, but I can assure you that mine fits well, although you do need to make sure all the corners are indeed snapped on. The case does now support Apple Pencil charging, and I’ve had no issue charging and pairing. When I’ve tried to use the iPad in “typing mode” at a shallow angle, I have found that the pencil can get in the way a little bit, but for this I simply rotate the pencil over the edge of the iPad so that it’s sitting on the face and not the side of the body. (The magnets will still more or less hold it there.)I do have a few complaints about this case though, and I hope that if the manufacturer reads this they take the suggestions. First of all, the case does not protect the camera hump well enough in my opinion. When I hold the device and look at it’s profile, I can see the camera bump protrude just a little, but all it takes is one impact and that glass will shatter. This could be solved by making the case a little thicker, or by adding some material around the camera for protection. Second, the case leaves the sides of the device a little exposed. The top has large open sections which make me just a little bit nervous, and the bottom is completely open which you can tell from the picture. The right side is also completely open, granted it’s to allow the Apple Pencil to charge, but I've found that the pencil will still charge if there’s a little bit of material between it and the iPad, so my suggestion to the manufacturer would be to experiment with how much material you can add to the side, so that the iPad is still protected while allowing the Pencil to charge. I’m sure that most people would agree with me in saying that they would be willing sacrifice thinness for a slightly thicker case that snaps on more securely, and better protects the sides and camera. Some smaller complaints I have are just that when used in the “upright” mode, the angle is very steep, at 25° from veritical, and I feel like it could be just a little bit shallower. Also, I ordered the case thinking that the back would be “clear” reflecting the color of my iPad, but it’s really a darker shade that makes my Silver iPad look almost Gold, doesn’t bother me that much, but beware.If you were intimidated by the number of words in this review, and have skipped to the end to hear my verdict, know this: like all early cases, this one does have a few flaws, but most of them have been fixed as of the writing of this review. If you don’t mind putting a somewhat less protective case on your iPad, then by all means, go for it. For a $5 case, I’m pleasantly surprised by the quality, and would not hesitate to buy another if it was updated with my suggestions.

I purchased this iPad Pro case when the new generation of iPads launched and this was one of a few options at the time. I have had this case on my iPad for about 8 months now and every corner is either cracked or completely broken. The smart cover works well and has kept scratches off my iPad, however the cheap plastic has broken on all four corners. I have never dropped my iPad or anything like that. I believe the cracking is because of how tight fitting this case is and how much tension is being put on the plastic. My iPad is mostly used to watch tv/movies when traveling, it is not used outside of that. I gave this case 3 stars because of the value that it has provided considering how inexpensive it is. At $11, this is decent case if you're on a budget and need something to provide basic protection. If you want something nicer and longer lasting -- look elsewhere.

I purchased the updated version and back cover was all scratched up.. Also, does not have proper camera cut out to protect iPad camera. The camera extends farther out then case so not prtection when you place it downward. _ Returning and looking elsewhere.It does not work with Apple Pencil charging and a bit off in size to work on the iPad Pro 11- basically unusable...bu they wrote me and said they are correcting the case to resolve the problems and ready next week. So I will update my rating if or when they replace it.

The case doesn’t sit flush on all 4 corners. Even that it doesn’t sit flush, the case is very hard to remove. I was worried about damaging my new iPad. The rear camera sticks out paste the case providing it zero protection.

The measurements were off on the cover. Was really hard getting it on and when you got it on, the corners doesn’t lay flat. Felt like it wasn’t measured correctly to fit the iPad Pro 11”.

Just got it! I was worried because the reviews were uncompromising especially on the case fit and the apple pencil 2 charging ability but SURPRISED it fits perfectly and you CAN charge your pencil! I would update if my attitude changes after using it for awhile but so far it is great!

Put it on my new 2018 iPad Pro. I can’t get all 4 corners to fit over the iPad. Way to tight. Doesn’t hold up the iPad very well either. Wants to fall over way to easily when holding iPad up.

Not only does the case not allow for pencil charging, but the case is too small. The company should really make size corrections while they're accommodating the pencil charging. If these things get fixed, and they make it right with their customers, this product may be worth considering. Buy something else for the time being.

I thought I already wrote a review for this but turns out I haven’t. So now that I’ve been using this for several months I guess I’m going to be able to write a better review.I use this thing every day to flip and watch my iPad and to tell you the truth because of that feature I’m watching it more than I do my TV. I do like how one side is leather and then one side is microfiber. My wife doesn’t like me putting anything on our nice dining room table so if I have to set my iPad down I’ll set it on the leather side instead of the plastic hard side. Nothing to say bad about this case to tell you the truth. It’s got magnets in the front cover to close it and it keeps it really nice and tight.

Good inexpensive product. It does what it is intended to do which is protecting the iPad. The only reason I don’t give a 5-star rating is that there is no way to keep the iPad on a 30 degree angle and keeping the Apple Pencil on top - which it had a clip or something to keep it at that position. It works for my iPad Pro and 2nd generation Apple Pencil as it leaves an opening for the magnet - see pics!

I've had this case for about 3 weeks and I absolute love it. Great price and a nice leather type finish on the front that wraps around the spine to the back make it very nice to hold. It fits the iPad well with all the cutouts in the right places for speakers, the pencil and ports. Very easy to install and I had no trouble getting it in securely.The main issue as others have stated is that the back of the case is so thin that it causes the camera's glass lens to contact the surface when you put it down on its back. Since I read that in the other reviews before I purchased this, I've been vigilant not to put it down on dirty surface that could scratch it. This is easily avoided if laid on the leather-type cover as well, which is also really easy to clean. The only other small point is that with the spine design, there is sometimes a bit of flex and wiggle at the spine itself when folding and unfolding it, or when using it in the triangle stand mode to draw on (the shallower angle mode). I believe it's the same type of design with the official Apple smart folio case spine, but just wanted to point that out for those who draw on it.Overall, highly recommended and feels far more secure than the magnet folio cases as it's still quite thin and encases the iPad with a very nice material finish.

Compared to the Apple brand covers, this one is better designed and a much better price. I like that it actually protects the corners, and allows visibility of the back, unlike the Apple brand cover. Mine did come with some minor cosmetic ding like marks on the back but with use, they seem to be wearing off. Otherwise I would the given this product 5 stars.

This one is cheap alternative compared to apple one. This is not one hundred persent anti finger marks as stated, easily get dust and dirt.

The corners are flimsy and they broke within 4 weeks. Gonna try a different brand.

Works perfect and can convert to a stand which is great.
