Don't Bore Us - Get To The Chorus! Roxette's Greatest Hits

If you are a fan of Roxette, you owe it to yourself to get this CD. I found that I like quite a few of the songs I'd never heard before just as much as their hits I've long loved.

This album by Roxette is great!!!. It covers most of the songs that I grew up listening to. Is a great compilation to any Roxette fan. I love their music, and I'll always will. This music will never make me tired of listening to it. I'm glad that this band are still together and expanding their music career. The latest album that Roxette released recently is call: "Charm School." Is a different type of music, of what I been used to it, the truth is that the album is NOT bad at all. This is one Pop duo. I was acquitted with a couple of their hits from the 90s but had no idea how strong this "Best Of" collection would be. Think ABBA on steroids. Great stuff.

Glad that Go Hastings had this album available. There are always songs that a music group will perform but it never seems to make into the mainstream of music listeners. It's a shame that Roxette is no longer around. It was a good group to listen too.

Outstanding!! There isn't a bad song on the CD. The version of "Listen To Your Heart", released in Sweden, is even better than the version released in the US.

10 years after crafting their perfect, debut album with 1986's "Pearls Of Passion", Per Gessle and Marie Fredricksen released their first greatest hits compilation for international audiences alike. And while NONE of the "Pearls Of Passion" nuggets are featured here, Roxette fanatics are STILL in for a real treat with 4 brand new tracks. "She's Got The Look" was the beginning of critical acclaim when 1988's "Look Sharp!" hit the U.S. stores and was in heavy MTV video rotation. With it's crunchy guitar riffs and dreamy harmony vocals led by Per, the rest of the album spawned even MORE mega smashes: "Dressed For Success", "Dangerous", and the main staple that continues to last well into 30 years -- "Listen To Your Heart." (The latter song was covered by one-time electronica/dance duo D.H.T. in 2005, which had the album title of the same name.) For 1991's "Joyride", Roxette climbed even higher with more power pop, mega ballads, and just pure, direct rock 'n' roll. However, I prefer the full version of the title track rather than the edited version featured here. By the next 2 albums, Roxette were touring constantly all over the world, ravenously building their fan base, as the fans clamored for even more. But the effect in the U.S. didn't last very long during 1994's "Crash! Boom! Bang!" album, thanks in part to the Nirvana/Pearl Jam/grunge era. However, this collection STILL has the very best of Roxette -- give or take a few radio edits. The 4 new songs featured here maintain their worldwide significance in power pop/rock history: Per's kazoo on "June Afternoon", the fast-tempo stomper of "She Doesn't Live Here Anymore", and the 2 dreamy, wistful Marie-led ballads of "You Don't Understand Me" and "I Don't Want To Get Hurt." Thankfully, Per and Marie would not rest on their laurels for very long; their very best work was yet to come in the new millennium and beyond. Want some proof?? I love their voices. The CD is great quality and the case is very nice. I listen to them on road trips and it is nice to sit, relax, and enjoy their music. I have always loved their songs. Very hip!!

Item delivered on time, item was as described...I am happy with my purchase! We have enjoyed listening to Roxette whenever we drive into town...Our kids are also familiar with these songs now and even enjoy jamming out with mom and dad!

It is made of the splendid Per Gessle and Marie Fredriksson combination. The stunning Marie is the unique voice who leads the major hits along with Per as lead vocalist and guitarist as well. Per is the mastermind behind the mellow and rocking voice, catchy hooks and viral lyrics of Roxette! With such a famous band, Roxette has reached the top of many famous charts around the world, including the Billboard charts.
