Brilliant, definitely best for your buck, if your budget is under £50 this is the best you can get!
Won't go into details as there are many hour long reviews on YouTube that cover everything about this unit, and from my experience using it, i see why it widely considered the best budget mete money can buy, so for anyone with a budget under £50 this is the best you can get and is it extremely accurate. No battery meter unfortunately and as the battery begins to die the values lose their accuracy, so without a battery meter you can't tell if your values may be off without checking the voltage of the battery inside to see its capacity.Very sturdy build, high resolution display.Only let down is the supplied leads which are just adequate, but they do the job for basic tasks, its testing continuity that you will need new leads for, id recommend a pair of fluke leads or probemasters, but they can set you back another £50 so only worth it if you have multiple meters than you can share the leads with, otherwise of you're going to spend £100 total on a meter with stock leads look elsewhere.

Great value for money!
I bought this specifically for measuring uA in a low power micro-controller design - which it does very well. However it is a great all rounder, is easy to use, and even comes with a comms cable so you can log data over time. As a result it has replaced my old multi-meter because it does everything, just with significantly more accuracy. I like its construction, weighting, pop out stand, usability, and think it represents unbeatable value for money.

Very good for light electronic work
There are many reviews that can be read, and watched on you tube on thecUnit-t 61e. I do not propose to repeat, in detail, these reviews as many are comparisons to other equally priced products or agaist more expensive DMM's. Instead my comments are a review judged against the criteria that I set for a mid-range multimeter. Firstly I purchased this dmm for light current electronic work and in no way for high energy electrical installations. I patticularly wanted a reasonably high resolution meter and one that would measure microamp ranges. In these respects the unit-t fulfils these requirements. It has a 20,000 count resolution and its uamp range is accurate well within specs for this range. So I would recommend this meter for light electronic work. Capacitance, ohmic, diode and continuity tests were all in spec. As for input circuit protection it meets the IEC specs for Cat I Cat ii Cat III. However, that does not mean that I would use tbis meter for high energy installation messurements in current and voltage. I certainly would not recommend this meter for this purpose, hence the one star dropped. I was also not impressed with the test probes. You might consider purchasing a better set than those provided. It fits nicely in the hand, its bale stand is adequate. It has one of the clearest displays I have ever seen with good contrast. You do get what you pay for, but for a mid-range multimeter it is a good buy for anyone starting out in electronics or as an extra unit for multiple measurements.

Multimeter was a gift, I'm told the meter performs as required.

No auto off = lots of batteries. MAKE THE MOD!!
Sure it's easy to use.But I keep killing batteries because I forget to turn off. Spend a few pounds more for auto off or read on if you don't mind a hackI would also suggest that the continuity tester made a much louder beep! But I've had good use of it by now 12 months later.Frequency meter works fine up to at least 2mhz and down to a 10Hz or something like that.Probes ok but nothing to write home about.Update:Apparently if one cuts the trace coming from pin 111 of the chip in the device then it disables the data port but reenables the auto-sleep function that the manufacturer's design for this device disables. Check out various articles on the web. Will cut mine tonight.UpdateI made the mod of cutting the trace and now it auto-offs. Beauty!
