10-Year Mattress Protection King (B)

I was ready to send this mattress protector back before even receiving it, based on others' reviews (that I hadn't read until after the purchase had been made). I was disappointed to read what was said and upset with myself for not having read the reviews beforehand. Once it arrived I left it in the package for several weeks waiting for an opportunity to return it. One day, I decided to partially open it to at least feel the material. I didn't like what I felt and closed it. Again, based on reviews, I'd made up my mind that I didnt care for it. Approx a week later I decided to bite the bullet. I figured I should at least give it a 'full on' try - to confirm that it was indeed as horrible as most had described. I've had several different types of mattress protectors over the years. I had an affinity only for one and used it until it lost it's integrity / nearing disentegration. Never found another like it. But I do believe that this one is now my second favorite...perhaps my first. It is different. At the onset, the material is...questionable...for lack of a better word. All that it is described as, is fairly accurate. HOWEVER it goes away /breaks in quickly. I really like it. It has a wonderful fit. It is 'on' the mattress. I haven't had to readjust it once. A firm good snug fit in two ways. It cups the mattress and then holds to it as well. It's like two pieces in one. Odd I know. Hard to explain. It isn't hot. It is a good fabric. Not so bulky / thick that it compromises the fit of the sheet. It doesn't hold heat /make me sweat. It's quite thin. In looking at it and touching it you wouldnt think it would be all that great...but it really is. Most excellent. More than meets the eye and highly under-rated. I'm glad I hung on to it and gave it a chance.

I don’t know why these ratings are so low for this mattress guard. We have had this mattress guard for a little over two years now. We got it shortly after I got pregnant and have used it through co-sleeping with our child. This has held up really well with formula spills and our child peeing through clothes after they discovered they can actually pull off their diapers. It has kept our mattress dry during every accident. This product actually works as advertised and it stays snug around our King size mattress. Did not disappoint.

We've bought several of these bed covers. They are Very Soft and great for protecting the mattress. And if you need to, Very Comfortable to sleep on as well.

Kept pup throw up off matress. Caught it right away was able to throw in washing machine right away and did not leave a yellow stain on the top. High hopes for other fluids. Kept sheets from fitting a little better so it was a trade off which I would gladly sacrifice. Most important it was free

it's far so good had me sweating so hopefully in the wintertime Misha keep me pretty hot but so far so good no itching no complaints

This is a comfortable mattress guard and doesn't make any crinkly noises like some do. It won't provide too much extra padding for back support/mattress enhancement- but it will do a good job guarding your mattresses from spills and life.

We ordered this to cover a new mattress that we purchased however it was completely open in the bag it came in. I can’t really see if it works or not because I haven’t put it on the bed yet but I can’t tell you the top is soft the sides feel a little flimsy and the inside definitely has some sort of plastic or something so it might make noise as you sleep.

Definitely is water proof, mattress hasn’t been stained from spills, also it’s light weight and doesn’t emit lots of heat!
