Amarite Plastic Drum Dolly for 30 gal and 55 gal Drums, 900 lb. Capacity

We had 2 half whiskey barrels full of soil and plants that needed to be on rollers for watering purposes, and to move under cover during storms. They are heavy barrels, and needed support around the edges, not just across the bottoms. These fit the ticket, and worked great. I was surprised that we had to put the wheels on ourselves, but they were quite easy to attach and all of the parts were included (minus a wrench, of course.) They maneuver very well, and easily support the planters. Drill a hole or two in the bottom for draining purposes, if you are using them like we did. I can't attest to whether or not they actually hold 900 pounds, but they handled approximately 300 pounds with ease. I would definitely buy them again.

This is great and assembled very easily. That having been said, I purchased an identical one under a different listing and while it too was very good quality, the wheels could not be attached with all four bolts because the holes on the wheel assemblies were not sized/positioned properly. I did not want a dolly that had wheels attached with three out of four bolts. I returned that one and looked for a replacement item and found this identical one that was slightly higher priced. I looked at the video and it showed the wheels being attached and I noticed that the holes on the wheels for this one were slightly larger/rounder. So, happy to say, I ordered it and it went together properly. Beware of the other units with the defective/incorrectly sized hardware.

Solved a huge problem managing my wetsuit rinse tank. Hawaiian HOA’s don’t allow outdoor rinse tanks for surf gear. Wheeled platform allows tank to be stored in garage and wheeled out when needed. Drum dolly is sturdy. Wheels allow easy movement of full tank.

Solidly built. Good hardware (wheels) included. Easily maneuverable even with a 55 gallon plastic drum full of water sitting on top of it (~460 lbs). Note that you have to attach the wheels yourself, and there were no instructions included, but it's easy enough (assuming you have an adjustable or socket wrench handy). FYI, each bolt should have two washers: a flat washer and a split washer. When installed, the order of the hardware should be: bolt (head), split washer, flat washer, wheel plate.

We just assembled it -- put the wheels on -- and it was very easy. Unfortunately, the paper with the directions was missing but we watched the video on Amazon's website and that was perfect. Fortunately we found our socket wrench so we could tighten the bolts. Our 55 gallon water barrel will arrive tomorrow and I'm sure this will work to hold it filled with water.
