Another keto book acting like it’s not keto!
I saw that Jorge deleted his old book on here and started fresh because of all the very bad reviews it had and my review had a lot of helpful likes on it so I’ll just write another bad review to help consumers out yet again. First off.. Jorge says this book isn’t keto but all the recipes are keto with maybe a tiny bit of a carb here or there. He says no foods are limited, such a joke. There are list after list of foods that are allowed and not allowed and the allowed foods list is very short and not even close to appetizing. He says it’s easy and it’s far from easy and very complicated and the guidelines to the diet are all over the place, no structure and he bounces around a lot. No surprise with how unprofessional he is when taking with others in videos online, he is always over talking people and interrupting people. I only bought this book because I love the Brooke Burke app but now I have lost some respect for Brooke Burke for endorsing it. I’m so sick of people trying to make a buck off of current diet trends or fad diets and this book is no exception. He’s making a lot of money off today’s diet tends and copying what others have already done. The amount of calories he has you eat in a day are border line anorexia. Of course your going to lose weight if your only drinking coffee for breakfast and 300 calories for lunch and dinner. DUH YOUR STARVING YOURSELF and shamefully acting like it’s healthy. People will develop eating disorders from a plan like this. Just eat 600 calories a day and you’ll flush all the weight off without reading this horrendous book. Can’t believe I got scammed into thinking this was different. Nope just like all the other fad keto and IF diets out there accept those are probably way healthier then the amount of foods he has you eat daily on his plan. Jorge is laughing all way to the bank with this book! Save your money and trust this review. Don’t believe him when he says the opposite or be mad like me that you got scammed into buy this book.

Misleading
Horrible! Contradicts everything he says in the beginning of the book by the end of the book. "Foods are not limited" Yes they are. "No cutting out food groups". Almost all fruits and carbs are cut out. "No measuring or weighting". Specifically tells you how much each piece of protein needs to weigh. Breakfast is just a cup of coffee with fat added after fasting for 16 hours...and of course he encourages you to buy his products. Other then fasting the rest of this plan is nothing like what he says it will be. Total let down. I was excited when ordering this book. Completely disappointed.

Life changing
I have been on the Cruise Control Diet since November 2018. Pre-diabetic, overweight, tired, depressed, and not headed in the right direction to live a long and healthy life. I quickly became accustomed to a life with “cheated” fasting thanks to Jorge. The food is great, the tips and tricks are amazing. This way of life is just what I needed. In 4 months I am down 27lbs and still losing. Amazing book!

This is not a diet, it is a way of life.
I was a part of the test panel for this book. The book changed the lives of my family. My husband was able to stop taking his diabetes medicine and I went from size 20 to a size 8 by adopting the practices of the Cruise Control lifestyle. This is not a diet it is a way of life.

Together my husband and I have lost 90 lbs on Cruise Control!
I’ve been following this author for years. I lost 40 lbs on the Belly Fat Cure. I had never been successful at any diet before in my life and I’m 54 now. I heard about the group starting up in August for Cruise Control and I applied. My A1c had gone up to over 7and I knew my diabetes was getting worse, I had to do something. I started the diet with the support of Jorge, his team and the cruise control community, I lost 11 lbs in the first week! I got a personal call from Jorge and he interviewed me during the first live, I was thrilled. Yes my weight loss slowed over time but I’ve stuck with it and to date have lost over 40 lbs. yes, it’s ketoish but not quite. I love that the plan includes intermittent fasting. I didn’t think I could do IF but I learned to love it and the buttery coffee that I live for. There are so many non scale victories like no longer needing arthritis medicine, glowing skin, saving money by eating out less, no breakfast and sharing plates with my husband when eating out. If you read the reviews that are so angry and negative, don’t believe them. I do look for keto recipes and use them and Jorge himself encourages us to. There were no products to buy or subscriptions. There are products now but they are not required, just follow the plan, cook your own food, follow the meal plans to maximize results but it’s so flexible. My A1c went way down and my daily blood sugar readings hover around 98. My husband was diagnosed with cancer last year and I got him started on the plan to coincide with his fight against cancer and he’s lost over 50 lbs. We’re on our way to health with Cruise Control! It was overdue.

Don't listen to people who haven't even tried it!!!!
First of all this isn't Keto I've been on Keto and it just does not work. I workout at least 30 minutes everyday and COULD NOT do that on Keto had zero energy.. I do this plan AND workout before I even break my fast and have TONS of energy. Don't listen to the negative Nellie's who site hate and contradictions. This plan has several ways to follow it.... You follow the blueprint your getting a more fast track strict way to lose weight, you do the food your way and follow his go to lists you'll be eating MANY fruits not just berries and also get grains and bread which would NEVER be allowed on Keto.. I've lost 12lbs in a month using this. After Keto, for 4 months and only losing 10lbs I also felt like total garbage. If you take anything away from the negative reviews let it be that they just couldn't commit because all I saw were people not willing to give it a try and no one can review something they haven't tried. I've tried this...it works and the best part if you can't commit to the strictness of the food at least start with the fast you will still see progress that will only lead you further into exploring this plan to see MORE progress... Good luck!!!

Don’t bother
Do not botherYou will lose weight BUT that is because you eat hardly anything.One eighth of a cup of olives!!Really not worth the money and totally useless.Eat in a eight hour period, but eat next to nothing in that eight hoursOf course you will lose weight.Really really do not bother

135 pounds and 19 inches from waist lost!
I have yo yo-yo dieted for 35 years and after following this plan and dropping 41 pounds and 3 pant sizes and rarely feeling hungry. I can definitely say this is not a diet but #CruiseControlFasting is a permanent lifestyle change for me.You can maintain this style of eating long term. I was 400 plus pounds not sure how much exactly as that was the limit of my scale on January 1 2018 with a 59 inch waist.As of April 1 2019 I weigh 265 pounds and have a 40 inch waist. I now only have 100 pounds left to lose and the goal is to celebrate this in a years time. #canayearchangeyourlife The answer is yes with the help of this authour and book.I have included some pictures of the meals you’ll be eating

The only weight loss book I couldn't put down and read 3/4 of it! I purchased this book 5 months ago and will readily admit I have only lost 3 lbs BUT, its because I am not following it 7 days a week. I know if I did I would have no problem at losing 28lbs in 28 days, my 3lbs is cumulative and full disclosure throughout the summer and many get togethers later I gained on many weeks. When I am focused and practice Jorge's regiment I typically lose 3lbs a week, unfortunately I have had more bad weeks then good another BUT...I have tried many weight loss programs and whenever I started to eat 'somewhat healthy and normal' I was gaining weight, so to be down 3lbs is a HUGE accomplishment. For those that have had constant struggles with their weight they will be able to appreciate that statement, overall and 'yes' even with the holidays coming I have full confidence I will either maintain or lose by the end of the year. I am beginning to focus more and even only following his plan loosely 4 days a week (and not his 28 day food plan but his recommendations) I am losing .5lbs weekly, even if I can maintain that, that will be 26lbs in a year. He pushes intermittent fasting and to be honest I always thought I could NEVER do this, well I am happy to say (with the exception of Sat to Sun) I eat my last meal by 7:30pm and don't eat again until 12pm (only have the drinks that he allows). I would without one ounce of hesitation recommend this book, especially if you are curious about low carb eating, Jorge explains the whole carb thing in such a way you can easily understand it and make sense of why carbs are sooo bad for you! I am definitely a supporter of The Cruise Control, wish I could say I can commit to his 28 day plan but I am also a realist and know I never could :)
