Expensive but big time saver vs trying to use laptop for replacement / new install.
Liked the cheaper one in shop for everyone's use, but wanted my own so wouldn't have to chase it down, to find it has a dead battery, or some Yo-Yo has changed settings. I also wanted AHD capability. Bought this one, and though expensive has served me very well. The Axim app works with Safety Vision cameras, though not all, pretty well. Trying to figure out how to connect, setup, verify SD card, and cleanly disconnect automatically. No macro function found that is suitable... yet.

Does all Types of Cameras and yes SDI also.
Everything about this tool is outstanding. Good value, Easy to use, and So far has done everything I have needed, I like it better than the old meter I had.

Great tool to have
I was happy with the product . I must say is a little bit confusing to follow-up with the applications but, after using it often you get better. Although you need to find the right app. For your particular camera.

Does it's job
Works for what I need it to do which is focus cameras before they are on the network.

Just got it, so far, so good, haven’t really put it through the test yet, but happy with the features it has.

The best IP Camera Tester! But that doesn't say much.
I was looking for a IP camera viewer that could adjust multiple cameras at once and this is it! Even though they don't list anywhere in the manual or on the website that it has multiple preview mode. I wish the device had about 25% higher brightness though for outdoor use. Other than that this is the real deal. I tried 3 different testers so far and this works the best. Edit: After 4 months of use I notice several annoyances, such as translation errors literally everywhere. For example, the button that should be called "apply" in various menus is actually called "setting". There are other quirks but that isn't the main issue. What really frustrates me is that when you back out of the universal IPC app, it turns off POE power. There is no way to disable this. POE power also turns off if the screen turns off. Lastly, perhaps the most debilitating feature is that when opening the IPC Test app, it will automatically select the first camera from the list and attempt to login. This alone causes major issues because I have to wait for it to be done loading (some cameras never load which renders the IPC Test app useless in this case), in order to be able to select the device I actually want to connect to. I am pretty sure your average security camera installer can figure out how to select the device from the list on their own and doesn't need this done for them.

Not compatible with Hanwha
Bought this specifically for a 652 camera job so that I could pre-point cameras over a 10 acre site without having to either lug a laptop and POE injector into a lift or be on a cell phone calling back and forth to point cameras. This tester does not connect with Hanwha cameras. It will locate them and ping them but will not connect with the IPC test tool or ONVIF test tool. Both the Chrome and Firefox browsers time out when trying to connect directly to the url after setting the tester to a static IP within the camera’s IP scheme. However when using the tester as a POE injector, my laptop will connect directly to the camera through a browser. Tech Support was less than useless. Multiple industry sources state that there’s a Hanwha app like the Axis app but tech support states one isn’t available.
