Black 12V 55LBS 54inch Bow Mount Trolling Motor with Remote

A great trolling motor. Its very easy to assemble and works great. I really like the remote control steering. Aquos is a very good company and their customer service is the best I have ever dealt with. I would highly recommend both Aquos and this motor.

I think this thing totally stands up against competitors. My relatives have minnkotas and all that but I think this thing is just as capable as those. The battery usage on this seems just as good as those too. Some people find the beeping annoying but I don’t think it is. I actually think it ensures that I actually hit the button. But I usually just set the speed with the remote and steer using my gas motor like a rudder. So that probably cuts down on a lot of the noise and battery use.

I bought this motor for a 22' pontoon boat. I wanted it both for fishing and also for exploring in shallow water. It does both well. In shallow water, I can stand next to the motor and quickly pull it up if it gets too shallow. It is powerful enough to stop or turn the boat in tight places. For trolling, it has enough power to hold against a strong current or strong wind. It has 10 speed settings that allow you to control the speeds of the boat and therefore the lures for good action. I use the wireless remote, which I can do from any position on the boat. Having it on the lanyard keeps it handy. I have also used this to maneuver the boat in difficult wind and current conditions. Since I have this mounted to the bow, it makes the boat very maneuverable. A pontoon boat is not very maneuverable and this is ideal for difficult conditions. My reason for giving it 4 stars was that it was not clear that it didn't come with the quick removal attachment plate or the foot control. I didn't care about the foot control, but the quick removal plate is ideal because of where it is mounted. It also won't hold it very high wind or current, but I didn't expect that and don't expect to be using it in those conditions.

Noisy running, hard to stow front deployed position.. Made out of weak plastic that becomes brittle.. I purchased an extra remote for $100 niether remote holds a charge longer than 4 hrs..No service contact.. I just ordered a Minn Kota...The Haswing is less than one year old and just quit..Its.now in pieces in my recycle been.. BIG MISTAKE.. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

Installed on the boat really easily with the supplied hardware very impressed with the product so far I’ve only had it out on the boat two times but it actually seems smoother and quieter than the Minnkota power drive. For the price, I certainly can’t complain and the cord from the head to the base is much more heavy duty and sturdy than the other namebrand
