So, I foolishly bought these needing Boil-Safe (not Souv-Vide safe) bags. I needed to submerge bags in boiling water, and the "bags" are fine for that.The PROBLEM is the zip closure bar IS NOT. Yes, there is a SEPARATE Bar for closing.They TOUTED boil-safe silicone, but NOWHWERE on Amazon, do they tell you the bars are not "Boil-Safe"They arrived today with instructions that the "Zip-Bar" is not "boil-safe", providing info that the bags still are. Well, how am I gonna keep the bags closed?Just tried boiling the bags (MacGuyered it to keep the bands out of the boiling water) and they STILL bent(they said they are good to 190, but even being a good 1" above 212 water wasnt enough, so Sous-Vide peeps also beware)Good solid pocket pouches for freezing, MAYBE microwaving?Basically, TERRIBLE design

Unbreakable, flexible and only takes up the room of the contents, pourable, small storage, lightweight for taking to-go, inexpensive, truly food safe, easy to get clean and assurrance of closure (unlike self-zip bags with lots of grooves for the seal), leakproof, plus the bonus of measurement markings. Great for cut up fruit and veggies or any other snack needs, too.Tip learned the hard way—while it'll stand on its own, when filling with liquids, do stand it inside something sturdy (tupperware super oval works great).Do yourself a favor and get yourself a stash!

Very useful and eco-friendly product to have in your home.I used for freezer food and carry snacks to my kids to the park. Very convenient and I did not have to waste ziplock bags for one time use. Strongly recommended!

This is a great product for food items- can use for fruits, vegetables and other perishables to send to school with kids. Our children are using it to bring food to school. Have also used it to transport cosmetics in airplanes. Great use, and can be reused over and over again. Can also be used in the microwave without the green sealant bar. Highly recommend it!

These bags are great. They hold a generous amount of snacks or leftovers, gab stand up on their own, and are easy to seal and reopen.
