JetPerformance Jet 15008 Performance Programmer

I ordered this for my 2010 tahoe. When I plugged it in the screen illuminated but no words were displayed. I had to return the broken one and then wait to order a new one.They would replace it so I had return and buy a new one.The new one works awesome. Gained a few miles per gallon noticeable power and the best part. The oversized tires no longer trip the traction control. Good unitSeller should have acknowledged the original faulty part.

Ok so if you get on google and read about removing the speed limiter on a gen5 camaro it will tell you that there is only one company that makes a programmer that can pull this off. I’m here to tell you that is a lie! I did a custom tune with this programmer and it changed the limit. My v6 camaro that always shut off at 118mph, did 135mph and would have kept climbing but I ran out of road.It also feels like it has more power, only upgrades that I have done so far is retuning with this programmer and installing a pedal commander. Follow me here, pedal commander went on first, sport+ mode (for those that don’t know that’s the highest most aggressive setting), I was barking tires. Retuned with this programmer and I’m now barking tires in city mode (lowest aggressive setting of the pedal commander). Cold air intake going on tomorrow, performance brakes too. Will have to retune again after cai install, I’m excited!!

This engine tune makes a big difference by raising your rpm level and elimination of the top speed limit in your ECU .

..put a cold air and exhaust on my 2010 SS camaro.manual..but this little black box woke this 6.2L up.. can fell the improvements everywhere through the rpm's...money well spent..

When item goes defective requiring an update be ready for disappointment because the usb cable doesn’t come with the device. Amazon can’t send cord, Jet customer care never answers or returns calls. This item is a complete scam. Nearly $300 bucks wasted on this crap.. I wouldn’t recommend this item to anyone..

I purchased this for a 2013 Cadillac CTS 3.0 as there were few reprogrammers out there for this model.Pros: Great at tuning your transmission shift points and throttle response, significantly less gear searching.Cons: Did not notice a difference for the 91 octane tuning, nor did I notice a horsepower/torque improvement. As well, unlike other programmers which allow you to adjust torque management, this does not, or at least, does not offer the setting.Final thoughts: After a couple days of use, I ended up returning the product as I am going to get a laptop and TOAD software and attempt to do my own programming. With that said, if you find the idea of adjusting air/fuel ratios, timing, and other map settings, this is an ok alternative and definitely not placebo.

Easy to use, does what it says. I bought it to fix the speedometer for larger tires and ran the pre programed tune, absolutely woke my truck up! Just wish it would delete the AFM!

Easy to use/navigate, does what it claims.If you haven't done any mods to the Intake or Exhaust, the easy tune is a great enhancement over stock programming, (CAUTION: do NOT use the easy tune if you've modded the Intake or Exhaust! The car's computer will throw itself into a drivable "limp mode" and give you a bunch of false fault codes.) I have a CAI, ZZP downpipe, and Magnaflow exhaust, so I had to use the 'custom' tune. It went quickly and improved the whole board, (Tq, Hp, and MPG).The only Flaws I've found so far is that the unit will not clear fault codes. It's supposed to, but won't. And you cannot re-map your injector pulses, (not that you'd want to without tuning it on a dyno).

Unit didn't work, contacted JET Performance directly, seems plug is defective, common to error 98, Amazon sending a replacement unit. Puts JET quality control in doubt considering this isn't first time it happens. Will adjust review once a working unit is obtained. As of Sept 2019, version REV 1.71 is latest one available.Update: I've used new replacement unit for about 1 week, downloading pre-set JET program was easy. Increased to 2 stars. Performance gain seems to be negligible to minor. It's certainly not worse than factory and no error codes were generated. But for less than 5% performance increase compared to programmer cost, it's still not worth it for pre-set feature. Once custom feature is tried, I'll review again.

If you program one time no problem, after do it many time some problem with module begin, put original one back and reprogram one time always ok, work well and transmission shift better and combo engine-tranny work better love my car now, impala 2013 3.6 6T70.

Item showed up damaged and not in working order, box was not damaged. Not happy with this transaction and have returned it and now waiting for my refund.
