Great replacement valve
I needed this new valve for my sprinkler system. It was super easy to replace and it easily turns on and off to make sure that no water is leaking out. It is high-quality install this piece a couple years ago and it still working fine.

it works!
fixed the problem where water sprays out the top cap. it is inherently a poorly designed valve, but i suppose replacing the components 1/year @ $5 isn't so bad. or maybe it is? idk, you be the judge. as far as the part is concerned, it stopped the spigot from spraying me every time i turn it on- so i'm happy.

NOT for Fusan Wall Hydrant Repair
This will not fit the Fusan 1019A wall hydrant anti-siphon frost free vacuum breaker sillcock. If you are like me and read it is a replacement, it is NOT. The search continues...

Worked!
No instructions, but I was able to replace the broken part with this kit by looking online to see what went where. No more leak - if your American faucet is leaking from the top, this is the repair kit to get.

Perfect fit in my American Valve silcock
The little rubber gasket inside my valve had dry rotted and cracked. I think that was all that really needed to be replaced on my silcock. The new screw to attach the handle was too large of diameter or threaded wrong. It would not easily attach so I used the old one.

Wasn't what I wanted
I couldn't shut the faucet off, so I ordered a kit, which came with a handle and a couple of washers. I ordered a new complete faucet Which is great) for less money

After searching all over the web for the fix to a leaking anti siphon cap. I finally found this kit. It shipped next day which was amazing. If your outdoor faucet looks like the picture, this kit will work perfectly for you!
