Just in time, right when it seems all the rules about economics are changing, here comes the 3rd edition. I've owned every edition of Warshawski's SHAKING THE MONEY TREE, and this one is every bit as good as the first two. Warshawski's advice is not completely shelf-stable, which is why it's so relieving to have a new version periodically. If you need to raise money for creative work, this is one heckuva book.

Great book with very good information for independent Filmmakers who want to raise funds for their projects. Geared more to documentary Filmmakers, but you can use some of the ideas in any type of filmmaking genre.

As an emerging filmmaker, Shaking the Money Tree is so worth my investment of the purchase price - especially feeling like a fish out of water regarding locating donors and raising funds. Warshawski's guida nce is practical and specific. It is clear that he's done this thing and has been successful at it - just what someone like me needs to be more confident in my new venture.
