MAGIX Movie Edit Pro 2019 Premium - Your Films, Created Your Way

Spent HOURS trying to install this software into my brand new Dell laptop with Windows 10. Failed install with an "install error" code each time. Thought there might be something with my new computer so I took it back to the store along with this software disc for the professional I.T guys to troubleshoot. Same install error code. I.T. guy even reinstalled Windows 10...same result. I returned the software disc and exchanged it for another thinking (hoping) that this particular disc was the problem. Well, the replacement disc did the exact same thing...install error code. I'm done troubleshooting this software. Returned it and going to buy a competitor's software.

You can't edit mkv file. MPEG4 needs to activate, it won't activate.

I just got this software and I'm so happy with it. I contemplated on AVID program but Magix suffices. Excellent service and fast delivery.

Great program. I use it for editing all my go pro videos. Easy to use.

My husband loves this. He has edited all of our wedding photos. Thank you so much for this helpful dvd. It was so easy our 10 year old daughter's use it.

Magix Movie Edit Pro Plus is riddled with bugs; subtitles not working, saves several backup copies all over my desktop without asking, some features work one day the next they don't; customer support is among the worst I've encountered in any industry. They make you pay extra to have the privilege of calling their customer tech support line AFTER buying their product. There's a "forum" that you can ask questions on and "hope" another end user knows enough to answer your question. Their product manual is poorly written and there's little help to be found on the general internet on youtube besides very general "welcome to magix move edit pro" type stuff. UPDATE:UPDATE: I got help resolving the issues I was having on the Magix Video forum. Its a free forum you get when you log in. I was able to get most if not all issues resolved. So it would be nice to have a dedicated tech support line but this is the next best thing. Even the tech support people admit there are bugs to be fixed, but I got several responses even if its over a forum. Since their product manuals and program help function inside the software isn't much help, I'm leaving this 3 stars, but better than the 1 star I originally gave it. If you are considering this software, but be prepared that there is a learning curve, because I've been through it. I was a complete beginner and with the help on the Magix Video forum I have become at least a basic amateur video editor. For the price its pretty good; just be prepared to get on the forum the second you have an issue. Because if you are a beginner no matter how smart you are you are going to have issues at the beginning, but you can work through them. Have to admit I kind of like this software now. This was my 7th video editing software I tried, so I think video editing is something that has to be learned. But once you do learn it its fun.
