My husband has worn Red Wings for years and decided to try these after two years of leg pain, foot pain and ankle pain. His feet and legs feel much better. He said they are way more comfortable than his old brand and wished he would have bought these years ago. As a sheet metal worker, in his 60's, he is on cement all day, lots of walking and going up stairs that can be slick. The soles on the boots really make a difference. He loves these boots. Great quality, look nice, super comfy and great value. No complaints!

These boots are the best money can buy. skipped buying a new pair last year on a Black Friday sale but made sure to buy this year. This is the 4th pair of Thorogood boots, my 3rd pair of 1957 series. The boot in the pic is 3 yrs old never oiled or polished worked the original sole off of them had them locally re-soled still going. I have tried other models but I returned to the 1957 waterproof, insulated they’re warm in the winter, cool in the summer (Florida) and a great riding boot on my motorcycle. High quality Union made boot well worth the money. Not sure why the other folks had issues I am quite sure Thorogood would stand by their product if in fact there was a flaw in the Manufacturing. To many pros to complain about my tag has a stain on it etc…. Highly recommend to purchase. Fits comfortably great looking and durable American made boot.

Let me start out by saying I'm a Union Sheet Metal Worker and I'm proud to own a pair of these. They're union made in the US with some global parts. I've always heard a lot of good things about Thorogoods, and decided to give them a shot, so I ordered these. They delivered fast, a day earlier than expected. They're like walking on a cloud from the first time you lace them up. They fit true to your size, I ordered a 10 and they fit like my shoes(where as with Double H brand, they'd be more like a 10.5). They break in fast and they're very comfortable, and alleviated some of my foot pain and fatigue from the old boots. They're waterproofing is great, especially how the tongue has webbing to the upper so water doesn't leak in there. They take damage well, scratches and scrapes don't peel off the leather or break stitching. That being said, when I hit a deer on the way home from work, and the bike went to a slide with my foot pinned between the bike and the road, I'm glad I had them on. I slid about 30 - 40 ft with my Yamaha 1300 pinning my foot to pavement and it did very little real damage to them. The sole and moc toe was scraped flat in places and there's one hole at the edge of the comp toe, but they stayed on and I don't have a scratch on my ankle or foot. I plan on keeping these put up for a memory, but I'm planning on ordering another pair soon. Thorogoods for life.

Boots are absolutely beautiful. Opened the box and they were absolutely pristine. The laces are light weight but feel durable. The stitching on the soles are superb. But, when I pulled the tongue back I noticed immediately that there was some sort of oil or something that were stained on the tags. They won't be seen by anybody, but when I open a brand new pair of $300+ boots, I would expect them to be completely clean inside and out. Put them on to try them out and they are extremely comfortable. Having practically silent steps despite how heavy these boots are. I'm working on my feet for 9+ hours a day as a mechanic and I can tell Thorogood will be a brand I will be revisiting. Willing to overlook the stained tags this time but next time I will definitely send them back for a new pair. 4/5 rating.

Should’ve bought them a long time ago! Broke in one weekend, warmed up leather used Herbert shoe grease, wore them a couple hours between greasing. did this 3 times between Saturday and Sunday.

I’ve had two pairs of Thorogood in the past and went for my third and these I’ve only worn a hand full of times since I got them because of how uncomfortable they are idk who they put in charge of design but they suck. :(
