Even good for extroverts with lots of friends!
Bought this for my suave, extrovert, middle-school grandson, a difficult age to buy for. He actually appreciated and liked it! I think middle school/9th grade kids are growing and changing, and need a little help with conversational topics. I am still shocked to see him looking through it, gives him some ideas for conversations other than baseball and video games (girls).

Great conversation starter!
This was exactly what I was looking for to help conversations along. It's good for early in a friendship with a teen - as a get to know you tool - or later, to learn more about each other. Some of the questions are funny and some are more serious, but they're all good questions.

good ice breaker
So far so good. I used today during a session with teen and he was engaged, good ice breaker. Content was appropriate and up to date content.

Great for parents and teens together
I use with my kids/hubby at restaurants to keep everyone off their phones while waiting for food. My kids found it hilarious when they realized that these were supposed to be questions that they'd discuss among friends. But despite them making fun of it, the game keeps us chatting.

Great conversation starters.
I am a therapist, and love the cards from that perspective. But my 14 year old actually borrowed them for a long bus ride and reported lots of laughter!!

Outstanding - can be used in many situations
Teen Talk really applies to all ages, except the very young, depending on the questions. What a great way to get to know others without being too challenging with multiple questions in my pursuit of getting to know someone.

Excellent questions to use when trying to get your teen ...
Excellent questions to use when trying to get your teen to talk. Instead of getting "fine" or "okay", you are able to engage in deep conversations.

A Must Have
I have a teenage son who has PDD, nos, and Schizophrenia. This item has helped tremendously in teaching my son to have a conversation. We have other similar items that we use at home, but this item is great to take with us and use while we are out and about or sitting in waiting rooms at his doctor appointments.
