ranchu 5 Pack Live sm. Mixed Goldfish for Aquarium Fish Tank or Pond

Usually, I have bought telescope goldfish in the past but decided to message the seller regarding wanting a good variation of fish and the fish I received were BEAUTIFUL and thriving. I received an all white, all orange, tri-color, red cap/fin, and my favorite, the calico! I am always so happy with my purchases from this seller and will always buy again in the future. Highly recommended for people who know goldfish!!!

Honestly took a gamble on this purchase and let me be the first to tell you... it was amazing. The nest gamble I have ever gone. The fish where here the very next day, packaged safely and all arrived safe. No signs of illness or stress. All beautiful fish I would've personally picked if I saw in person. I was afraid they would send me the worst looking Ranchus but they did not disappoint. 10/10 would recommend and buy again.

I received five healthy baby ranchu goldfish today. after my initial inspection, I have not noticed any sunken eyes, inflamed lungs, or any ick. They seem very healthy and started swimming right out of the bag. I could probably turn the lights on they are doing so well, but I will leave them off for the 24 hours. My only complaint is the beautiful colored goldfish as advertised in the picture is not what you receive. The fish I got were two calicos, one black, two white and orange. I was really hoping for a lemon or a pearl, but I guess Beggers can't be choosers.

I took a shot in the dark but ordered based on the reviews, these fish were my birthday present! They came quickly in less than 24 hours! Such variety in the colors, all 5 were different! The seller even allowed me to get 1 custom color. I had 5 when they arrived but 2 days later 1 passed away, it was also the smallest and didn't look too great after acclamation. I will definitely order from here again. They are so adorable and lively besides the one. Their posture looks good too! The packaging was adequate but the heat pack was just water in a bag and was cold when I opened it, but it was also in the 50's when they arrived.

These little buggers sure we’re cute...unfortunately, were*. They all arrived alive, I have great water parameters, did a slow drip of my healthy water into their bag to help them get acclimated to I assume water quality change (the water they came in smelled awful, cloudy etc.). About after the second day of having them, I slowly lost about one a day, with fungal infections becoming more present every day. I had ordered treatment for them, but unfortunately it wasn’t in time and every single one did not survive. So as a warning, if you decide to order them too, make sure you have ich-x and something to combat fin rot / cotton gill type of treatment, typically new water changes and the stress make these issues present. Definitely bummed to say the least, they were cute and it was anguishing to watch them all die, not to mention the money I won’t get back. I’d steer clear, or be sure you have a hospital tank setup with treatment on hand from overcrowded fish and the gunk they come with :(

**update 10/3** Just a couple of photos of the fish after ich treatment. 3 of them survived and are doing well. Note that there are other goldfish in tank but the 2 without dorsal fins are from this seller. **updated review on 9/22/20 after a couple of days** I initially gave these 5 stars and I'm still happy with the variety of colors and the size received. The review is still below this one if you continue to read. Be aware, I wrote that review while the fish were still in bag which was floating in the isolation tank with water dripping into it to acclimate the fish after temps stabilized. After 3 hours of dripping and discarding water from the bag, I released the fish into the holding tank, 1 of the fish had issues from the start where it could not control its buoyancy so I isolated it into a shallower container but it died within the next 3 hours. It was white so I couldn't tell if if had progressed with ich, but I could see ich pretty prominently on the smallest fish which was all black. I immediately started treating both tanks with nox-ich. As of today the smallest fish has died too. Hopefully the 3 remaining fish survive - I'm still treating, I have contacted seller to notify so hopefully they will try to get ich out of their tanks. If the ich gets under control I think this is the best online source to get a color variety of these fish. I just can't give 5 stars because I think the seller could see the ich on the black fish - it was pretty progressed when I viewed it from the side. **initial review while in bag** I was concerned about ordering fish online but I could not locate ranchu's locally. I'm so glad I risked it. I ordered these on the evening of 9/15 expecting them to arrive the following week and they arrived on 9/18. These guys ship really quickly, so be prepared. I received surprising large fish for small. I believe only 1 is truly in the "small" size range. I am acclimating them so they are still in the bag but they are very active and all 5 look healthy. I received one completely black, one is black with white belly, one completely white, one completely orange (standard color), and the last one is a orange mask on a white body. I don't know much about standard vs high end fish. But I assume these are pet quality. One has a spine that I image some would consider a cull because its spine isn't as fluid as the others. I know that there are some that want the lesser curve and more curve depending on how fast and large they intend to grow the fish. The pack has a mix of both. I will be viewing them from the side view instead of the top. After I fatten them up a bit, I'll check them out more from the top. Completely happy with the purchase.

Updated**** Photos of my fish after 4 months. They are all healthy and growing beautifully. I ended up rehoming a male because he was a very aggressive breeder but the other 4 are getting along great. My little black ranchu is the family favorite, she seems to be genetically dwarfed but that makes her even cuter. ****original review below The seller has been great- responsive to my questions and was even able to customize my order and recieved a fun oddball color. I am very pleased with the fish. All 5 survived the journey so well they were hungry as soon as they were acclimated to the tank. They were well packed with a heat pack and sent overnight. They are all around 2" with one smaller black one who has become the family favorite and is much more ranchu "type" with a high arch and round body. We love our fish!
