Hi John! My name is Jasmine and I am with Beyond Med Shop. The eggcrate mattress cannot be washed in the washer or dryer. It will destroy the foam. Following are cleaning instructions: Use a gentle laundry detergent such as those used for hand washing. Mix one part detergent to two parts warm water. Fill a spray bottle with the detergent. Spray the entire mattress lightly. Don't soak the foam, but keep your spray bottle moving as you spray. Let it dry completely, and then vacuum away any detergent residue with a soft vacuum brush. Can i cut this to fit a cot mattress 30 x72 ?

I did not buy this brand, but if it is like most medical egg crate mattress toppers, I don't see why you can't cut it to fit. Just use a large pair of scissors and cut away ( after testing a small corner first).

Do you put the eggcrate matress pad under a sheet?
