Alexander + David Women’s Woven Structured Cape Blazer Coat, Suit Jacket with Pockets

I was torn between this shorter blazer and a longer duster like one. I got both, and this one is definitely made much nicer. As others have said, it has shoulder pads and a piece inside the back that helps keep it in place. If you like nice looking/well made items, then splurge and get this blazer.

A classy yet edgy combination of formality and new age, I've been searching for a good yet affordable cape blazer for months - this was it. It can be hung and rolled up into a carry on and it's quality remarkably remains. The arm fittings prevent it from slipping, which is convenient.The only negative is that unlike traditional blazers, be aware that the arms are of course more exposed than not and it can get cold if your board room is over air-conditioned. Overall, A+D's Cape Blazer is a solid investment and middle ground between its cheap phony counterparts and its overpriced Fortune 1000 competitors.

Exactly what i wanted!!! I got a large because im always nervous online sizing will be smaller than expected.. NOT THE CASE with this, at all! The quality is GREAT, similar to express jackets, just a little thinner than theirs. The jacket even has some interior unexpected (and so appreciated) contrasting piping detail, like express. The pockets are a GREAT little extra! Jacket stays put with the way its designed, no slipping at all.. jacket is elegant and very feminine, the cut is very flattering. BUY, BUY, BUY!!!! i can't wait to wear it!!!

This was a great jacket and just what I was looking for. It’s nicer than some designer jackets I’ve worn. But, I’m a size 16, large chested, and it didn’t fit well. I ordered the X-large, which fits everywhere but my chest area. I wish I could keep it, but I just don’t feel comfortable in it. This is often an issue for me so I’m not surprised, just wish they made a larger size.

I haven't received so many compliments as I did when I wore this cape last evening! It is surprisingly well made, has a great "hand" as it feels substantial and of good quality fabric, it has shaped shoulders, is fully lined, and is very comfortable to wear as it stays put on your shoulders the whole evening without ever needing adjusting. I've seen these in department stores with less features selling for far more. I'm 5'2" and 110 lbs. and the small fit perfectly. This is a gem, I highly recommend it.

Absolutely stunning. The jacket fit true to size, very classy. The material is very nice. I love love love this cape it is 100% great quality also has a strap to keep the jacket up on you, perfect. The best item purchased off of amazon to this day. Don't hesitate to purchase, get your money's worth and that it is. Very exoensive looking. I love high quality clothing based upon material and construction and this jacket has both. BUY BUY BUY

I very rarely write reviews... however this blazer is AMAZING. It fits perfectly (I am a size 2 in dresses/jeans) and got a small. It was a little wrinkled but that is to be expected. There is actually a back piece that holds the blazer in place which is my favorite part because other pieces like this have trouble staying on your shoulders. I ordered it in black and am ordering the beige right now. HIGHLY recommend!!!!
