My daughter struggles with finding books that keep her attention. This series is the best! She loves reading Judy B Jones!

Cute for beginning readers
Barbara Park knew how to capture the funny, innocent, social awkwardness of being young. Junie B is every parent's nightmare. She is not a naughty child. She is simply learning how to navigate in a big world full of unwritten rules about what a first grader should and shouldn't say and do.The story is simple and well written. The vocabulary is great for an early reader.I have to admit I am not fond of Junie's tart little sayings at times. I do not allow my kids to use words like "stupid" which are thrown around liberally in the book. I have made clear to my kids they can read Junie B, but if I ever hear Junie B-ish words coming from their mouths, Junie B will find herself at the half price bookstore on the corner.

Teacher review
This book series is a high interest, medium reading level comprehension and great for primary school children. The book catches a child's attention immediately because of the illustration on the front cover. The back cover gives a concise, but good description of what is inside. Our granddaughters have enjoyed the "Junie B." books and request them both at the library and in book stores and on Amazon.I recommend this to any child, parent, family member, friend or teacher who is trying to find a book that will hold a child's attention and be fun while improvimng the child's reading comprehension skills and encouraging the love of reading. "Some" decoding skills are needed if your child is a struggling reader but your task of assisting your child will be less difficult with the Junie B. series.

Grandson No Longer Fusses About Homework
I have an autistic grandson who is very smart but hates homework. He’s in 2nd grade & has to read chapter books every night. I found it is so much easier to get him to read his chapter books if he can read them online so I ordered Junie B Jones online. He didn’t argue once about having to read online. He’s a hands on student. Reading online also allows him to make words bigger, look up meaning of a word if he doesn’t understand it, pronunciations, etc. I do wish the prices for children’s books were cheaper as this one was $5 & my grand reads 4-5 per week so I can’t afford to pay $20-25 per week but I will say after ordering I got an email saying if I ordered another June B Jones book online I could get a freebie. I wasn’t able to find any children’s chapter books through my kindle unlimited. Hoping for more deals in future.

One of the best young kids books
My now 21 to used to love, love, love these books, and now my 5yo feels the same. They are fun to read and many times we enjoyed quiet a laugh from little Junie's antics. She really cracks us up. Not sure how the author was so in tune with 5-6yo, but she was awesome!!!! Junie reminds me of my 5yo and she really relates. I recommend these Junie B. books to anyone and everyone. We have just about all of them know and haven't read one yet that was disappointing.

It's a good start to introduce 1st graders to reading
It's a good start to introduce 1st graders to reading. They -especially girls, can easily connect with the classroom scenario and hence enjoy reading the book. Thank You Amazon for its timely delivery and decent pricing!
