13 Art Inventions Children Should Know (13 Children Should Know)

I love this series of books for reading to the kids at night. A chapter is the perfect length for kids to learn about the topic without getting bored. There are beautiful pictures to go along with the information. I have also learned a lot from reading these books as well. I especially liked the "Art Inventions" one because it gives you a good understanding of how and why art adapted through the ages. The kids and I also really enjoyed the "13 Buildings Children should know". oh, and my kids are 6 and 8 for your info.

I'm an Art teacher and love this series of books. Its a great way to help students appreciate great Art.

Of the Thirteen books series this one seems the best of the lot for a simple art history text with middle school to me. Integrates science art and history very nicely.

My students love to read when they finish a project early and this is a great series of books for them to learn about art.

I love using these books with my students. Another interesting thing is that they are constantly attracting adults to them as well. Worth the money!
