These beautiful glasses with the Parisian history were a perfect addition to our house. With cats running around and careless humans that drop things, these tough, solid glasses are made of thick glass and quite substantial. • Some think they are a bit heavy due to that thick base. But it serves the purpose of making these quite tip-proof. Not sure who is the most clumsy in our house, but I have managed to not spill contents. • The bee design also helps keep the glass in your hand more securely. Wet surfaces and tipsy drinkers tend to let glasses slip but your fingers catch on those bees like some failsafe reminder to hold on! • Some will NOT like the obvious seam where the two sides of the glass mold met but La Rochere leans in and calls it a signature of their glasses. • Their website calls the glass they use extra durable and different from regular glass. It's true. They've take quite a tumble in our kitchen and survive unscathed. • Hand wash only - sorry dishwasher queens! • They come in variety of sizes and now different shades!

I've used La Rochere glasses for the past 15+ years. I have the small orange juice size, regular drinking glasses, and recently purchased the tall drinking glasses. I love them! They last and last, don't scratch, come out of the dishwasher crystal clean, and won't chip. When I discovered that they have a 6.3 tall glass, I immediately ordered them. I couldn't be more pleased with this product and plan to continue to use them for many years to come. Should they chip, I'll order them again. The only drawback I have found is that they sweat. I use a felt Graf Lantz coaster under them if I think the surface is vulnerable to moisture. La Rochere glasses are simply wonderful!

I LOVE these glasses. I first discovered them while staying at a country inn. They had a different size, but I looked underneath and saw who made them. I then look on Amazon, where you can find anything, and there they were! I'm not really into that kind of stuff, but I love bee decorations so got them. The most wonderful surprise is how incredibly sturdy they are. I've bought other glasses that cracked soon after I got them. We are tough on things, and all of these are still in perfect condition. I now have the tea cups, small sized cups (for juice, I guess), and now these tall glasses. They are worth EVERY penny!!!

Very sturdy, solid, heavy and beautiful. I just wish they were bigger to hold more liquid, but they are a piece of history dating back to the times of Napoleon, not our Big Gulp era! LOL.... just wish they were bigger! I bought the largest size for ice water, iced tea, etc. I wanted a sturdy glass - this is IT! No breakage in the dishwasher ever! Love them, but giving it 4 stars because I thought they’d hold a little more liquid.

Love the weight, feel, durability, and good looks.

These feel very stout. The glass feels thick and the bee design is fantastic. We liked these so much that we have purchased a pitcher and some of the shorter glasses. They far exceed other tumblers and glasses that we’ve purchased over the years.

I have bought these bee glasses in champagne flutes, tumblers, wine glasses and beer glasses. They are pretty enough for our holiday home, weighty enough to not blow over in the sea breeze and do not break easily. Fabulous collection for casual use and wash well in the dishwasher.

I loved these glasses when i saw them in John Lewis but they weren't available for delivery or were out of stock so I found them here. The glasses are beautiful and I love them! The only criticism would be that they're very heavy and its a shame you can see the seam in the glass but other than that they're fabulous. I've also bought the large wine glasses set of 6 and may expand to more! Delivery took a little while but they were well packed and worth the wait. I would recommend this seller. Amanda
