Looks no different than the original
I used this product to replace the dealer installed cabin filter for mini Cooper hardtop S 2016. The two inserts look the same as the old one. Install is pretty straight forward. It takes a needle nose plier to pull the old one out as they are in a tight and awkward slot and stacked one on top of another.

Went well for 2014 Cooper S
The screw was a T-20. I used a long screw driver to tap the bottom one down first and top slid in fine. There seems to be a debate which way the air flow goes Mine are both towards the cabin. If the flap side goes to right (for easier removal next time) then flow arrow is the bottom. Original arrow was on top. My original has three thin spacers on the bottom filter. Maybe these don't need them, I don't know. It was a challenge to get small filter door back on. I'm happy with the purchase.
