4 Piece Set D.M. Merchandising Back Scratcher Bear Claw 22"

My last back scratcher, one of the cheaper models that looks like a small rake, didn't last very long -- maybe 4-5 months -- before the "scratcher" part disconnected from the telescoping wand, rendering it useless. So when I came to Amazon to find a replacement, I noticed these and ordered. I couldn't be happier! Seriously, they are extremely sturdy, nice cushy handle, telescoping handle, and "scratcher" part that does the job without irritation. I opted for the 4-pack since I have a tendency to misplace mine. This way, I can have one in my purse, one in the living room, one in the bedroom, and a "spare" in the "junk" drawer. Super handy. Price is goo, too (at the moment, your get four of these for twelve dollars -- a great deal!) Definitely pleased with this purchase, and I can recommend without reservation.

I grew up with 3 older brothers always asking me to "scratch their back" because they couldn't reach. I love that these came in a package of 4. Gave one to each brother and my father. I notice they keep them close by at all times. I have used it and I love that you can adjust it to the perfect length; it does a much better job than the old wooden ones. This gets rid of the scratch without making any marks and since you can adjust the length, you can take it along with you anywhere. Wasn't expensive and works better than expected! Very sturdy too. Highly recommended for everyone, nobody can deny there's always an itch somewhere you can't reach - and now you can 😊

These are the best back scratchers ever! They are quality made, durable, and love the grip on the handles. I love that they extend so you can reach the most difficult of spots. Excellent product. I have bought others, only to have them break after a short period of time. These are the best I have ever found. I bought the set of 4, wish I had bought more of them as many of my family members love them. The claw is metal, but not sharp and I love the bear claw shape. It works great and I have given the other 3 to family and they love them too. Would make a cute and practical gift, or even a stocking stuffer on the holidays.

These telescoping back scratchers are awesome. My husband always seems to have an itch between his shoulderblades that he just can't quite reach, and if I'm not handy to scratch it he has been known to use anything from pens to screwdrivers to machetes to try to reach it. In order to reduce the amount of urgent care visits, I started to research back scratchers. We have 3 dogs that like to chew sticks, so our experimentation with the bamboo style scratchers ended badly and messily. A bit more searching, and I found these - they're great. They can be extended to just about any range that he needs, and the metal "claws" are perfect for relieving his itching. I bought a set of 4 so we can have them strategically placed around the house as well as contained in his work truck for easy access. I plan on buying more if those ever disappear or break - but they seem sturdy so far!

I am cursed. I have a few random allergies and sometimes get itchy. This also happens when I approach an attractive member of the opposite sex. Cursed, I say. So I bought these back scratchers (okay, I was buying one for my mom and realized that buying four of these wasn't much more expensive than buying a single scratcher. For the cost, these are great. I kept one and gave three away. They serve their purpose. They telescope enough for me to scratch the small of my back but also to reach my shoulders. The points on the scratcher are sharp enough to work without being so sharp that they draw blood or anything. The shape is a bit of a novelty, but I also feel like it lowers the area where you can scratch. Still, for the price, these are tough to beat.

Maybe it's caused by the dry furnace heat of winter, but whatever the reason, the skin of my back has been itchy and I cannot always reach the spot to aggressively scratch that itch. Of course, the itch is always worse when no one is around to lend a helping hand. I have found myself attacking door frames, hair brushes and anything I could grab in hopes of hitting that magic spot. But unfortunately, that didn't work very well. Then I started looking for a solution. I found these. I have to say, so far, so good. I have had no issues with the head spinning around or turning while using it. It is flimsy when extended to its fullest length, however, I don't think that will be a problem since I don't plan on extending it to that length. The reach from extending it once meets my needs just fine. Hint: When extending it, keep the smaller "inner tube" inside a larger outer tube for more stability and support. This way, it seems to be study enough. I am happy with this purchase. This is great for those hard to reach places. The grip is nice, sort of a rubbery feeling and it makes it easy to hold. Another reviewer stated that this item is sharp and scratched their skin. I haven't had that problem. The tines of this aren't sharp at all, just perfect. I love the 4 pack, a great value plus I can have them in multiple rooms. The shipping was fast and I received these sooner than I expected.

Got the 4 pack for my family because everyone seems to think I'm the family back-scratcher since I have nails. My kids and husband used to ask me to scratch their backs, so much so that it became a nightly bed time routine. I actually love being able to provide this "service" (especially to the kids, they would almost begin purring...I think they were cats in another life) but then it became too much, in the mornings, afternoons and any time. These scratchers are the perfect self-help item! We all each get our own and they work great; very sturdy and each one is a different color.
