The Science of Getting Rich

One of the Best Cases For the Justifiable Pursuit of Wealth
There are many people with highly religious backgrounds who have a strong hangup over the gaining of wealth. It seems money and wealth is such an evil, such a thorny and precarious path toward ones spiritual progress, that we dare not pursue it lest it "become our God" and we be damned to hell. In the battle that we must overcome with such thinking, I've rarely found a more concise and reasonable, even scripturally sound piece making the case for the Godly pursuit of wealth than that described here by Wattles a hundred years ago.Whether you're one who is religious in background, or not, and whether you have agonizing inner conflicts dealing with your "justification" of wealth, this book will be manna from heaven for your mind and heart in resolving your turmoil regarding that God-given inner drive to expand and become more---even more "rich."The globalists and elitists in this world bankroll and finance wicked and murderous regimes and ideologies, such as Marxism, all for a nefarious purpose. (Buy and read the must have "The Creature From Jekyll Island" by G. Edward Griffin with it's mammoth bibliography and explicit research to document for your the banker backed Bolsheviks etc.) These elitists are monopolists, they thrive and see everything in a "competitive" mode. They are selfish, and though fulfill a function, they will pass away as this grand creation called earth is "going to God" rather than "going to the devil" as Wattles puts it. Wealth is abundant. It is unlimited in supply, and there are not finite resources, but rather infinite resources for humanity to prosper. The elitists bankrolled vast propaganda, including the "Population bomb" and myth of population explosion. They breed mass hysteria about "scarcity" and limited ability of the earth to support humanity. They are eugenicists who long to see humanity eliminated down in numbers. Their writings, as documented in such films as Alex Jones' "End Game" which is available for free viewing on-line, are full of this. Wallace Waddles blows into the weeds all corrupt sophistry that would convince people that humanity is threatened with overpopulation, and that the earth is teetering on scarcity and "un-sustainability."On a religious note, one theologian said in the 1970's, and I agree with him:"With the help and blessings of the Lord, the free people of the United States and the free world can and will face tomorrow without fear, without doubt, and with full confidence. We do not fear the phony population explosion, nor do we fear a shortage of food, if we can be free and good. The Lord has declared, `... the earth is full, and there is enough and to spare. ...' "Waddles agrees, stating every family on earth could have built a palace the size of the capitol in Washington DC., and clothed with the finest clothing created from just the resources of the United States alone. I agree, and I find God is the author of such abundance and productivity if we would only believe it and ignore the "haters" as one lecturer refers to these "elitists" who hate witnessing their fellow man live in abundance and wealth.Waddles appears to be tied into quantum physics well before the term even existed. I am stunned as he describes the "thinking" substance of which all things are made. We humans, by power of thought, can have and assert energy, whether good or evil, upon his basic "intelligence" or substance of which all things are made.In short, Wattles gives a message that is the antithesis to the message given out by the Statists, the big bankers of our day and time, the "monopolists" and "money barons." The unlimited creation of wealth for our personal advancement in developing who we are is possible if we will bring forth the faith to do it. God creates worlds with faith by merely speaking his word, and the elements, or the "thinking substance" obeys his command. "Ye are gods" is a scriptural phrase, and we are like God in our capacity to think and learn to use this tremendous power of thought, to create and influence the very "thinking substance of matter" as God does. There is indeed a whole science to it, and physicists are coming up with profound discoveries that begin to have the reader take serious the depth and scope delivered to us a hundred years ago by Wattles.Become everything you can become. Glorify and thank God for it. Become magnificent. Become Rich. Advance in all areas of culture, health, learning, the arts and sciences. Let the creation of wealth move through you. Uplift yourself and surroundings, not in a "competitive" economic outlook, but in a "creative" one that neither steals nor plunders another for limited resources===for unlimited is the supply of abundance that we are to bring forth by this Godly power to create. Those with hangups toward obtaining wealth have found a great text to alter their mind and belief systems, and one which I find is no contradiction in scripture, but rather I feel the opposite.

Changed My Life. Helps Removes Barriers Around Money.
This book is a short read (should take you an evening or three if you allocate some time every night to read it). I'd say it's worth your while, for it changed the perspective I have around money. The perspective is this (warning: spoilers ahead). Money isn't there for you to save and horde. It isn't there for you to live until you're an old man or woman, then die a mediocre, unexamined life. Money enables you to enjoy enriching experiences. Money helps you to learn and do more so that you can be a more well-rounded, educated person, providing that body-of-knowledge and experience to other people, who will in turn reward you for helping them solve their problems. For example, I held off on purchasing a ham radio for over a year because I had a tremendous block around money. I thought it was foolish to spend several thousand dollars on a ham radio, along with antennas, tools, equipment, and other little nit-noids needed to operate. Basically, I was telling myself why it was stupid and foolish to spend the money. As a result, I talked myself out of enjoying radio for well over a year. This book helped changed my perspective around ham radio. It helped me to see that in the process of learning ham radio, I become a better engineer. It helped remind me why I wanted to get into radio in the first place: To learn about antennas and the magic of radios, those electromagnetic waves that go thousands of miles to other stations around the world, with little more than a piece of wire in my backyard. I had wanted to learn about electrical magnetic interference, the propagation of radio waves, and an intuitive understanding of electricity in general. These are things that I cannot get on the job because I'm mainly a software guy, writing code to interface with hardware, of which I have little understanding. By learning ham radio on the side, I build up this wealth of knowledge that in turn helps me understand hardware better. I become more marketable and in the process enrich my life. I hadn't realize just how much I would enjoy the hobby until I started to actually do it, and this book has helped me to overcome my stupid money barriers. If you have barriers around spending money, then I'd recommend reading this book to understand how to have more of it so that you don't have to worry about spending the money you have now, thinking you'll never see it again because of insecurities and fears around not being able to make more of the green stuff.

'' Thoughts Are Things''
I have read quite a few books like this recently - Napoleon Hill - Earl Nightingale - Bob Proctor,,,,, This book is short with short chapters - Earl nightingales '' The strangest secret'' is similar in that it is a short book but concentrates on mans journey through life without thinking about his job, money and happiness too deeply and just accepting the rat race - '' The science of getting rich'' needs to be read few times for certain things to make sense ,,,,,,, The message I am getting from all these books is that if you have an idea about Business, Employment or how to make your life better in any way just do it and get the result, Don't wait - If it fails just try again or try something different but keep on going , '' One step in the right direction is worth a hundred years of dwelling on it ''

Not recommended
I have been collecting books of this kind for a long time and have over 100 of this type in my library and my advice is to give it a miss.On the one hand it adopts a mystical approach to the topic while at the same time asking the reader to refrain from supporting charities or doing any charitable work. It is rambling and shambolic and lacks focus and direction.Spend your money on Napoleon Hill, Jim Rohn, Bob Proctor, James Allen or David J. Schwartz...you'll be glad you did.

One of the best books on Mind power, thinking and developing mind to get rich.
This book is actually available for free everywhere and is very easy to download. The book is only 20 pages long and I love this book because of its arrogant writing. In the first chapter itself, the author tells you that he will not try to convince you of the science and logic behind the theories he is going to present you in the book, and you have to accept them as they are on faith. This book has been a direct inspiration for the documentary “The Secret” by Rhonda Byrne and the book “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill and tells you everything as rules rather than philosophy and tells you that if you want to become rich than the guidelines mentioned in the book has to be followed as it is rather than being doubted upon. The book confidently claims that the theories mentioned in the book if followed step by step with extreme belief and faith can make you achieve whatever you want to achieve in life. The book deals with the method that whatever you think and say has meaning and just by manipulating with your thoughts and words inside you can actually change the reality outside. Most people think that what they are thinking does not have any meaning but whatever they are thinking of is actually creating a reality for them. The book tells that the mind is actually divided into two parts - conscious and subconscious mind and whatever data is fed into subconscious mind starts to come true with time with a due process of repetition. The book does help and the book is really a guide for anyone who dreams of ever becoming rich. I think that most people who have read the book found the book to be ludicrous because they would doubt the authenticity of the author and whether what he is telling is true or not.Again the entire theory seems like wishful thinking where anything that you think can come true which was also the basis of “Law of Attraction” preached in the documentary “The secret”. The documentary told the same things but they explained it better with the help of examples and personal experiences of people to which people responded more positively. The book, however, requires multiple reading before it starts affecting your psyche and I have read it multiple times to claim that it has helped me tremendously. I was never a big earner but then I gave two years of my life to know more about the fact that how to get rich and along with the theories of Napoleon Hill, the advice of Sir Walter Wallace mentioned in this book helped me in earning more money every year.I feel more in control of the mind. However, controlling your mind is not an easy thing to do and there are multiple books written on the same subject. An entire science has been developed to understand the subject and two scholars from Standford has actually developed a method in which you can reprogram your mind to make it think whatever you like. It’s called NLP, the full form of which is Neuro-Linguistic Programming. A free mind, in my opinion, is the more prone to negative thoughts, which this book advocate, is the biggest hurdle when it comes to becoming rich. Lack of self-belief and trust in oneself is the reason one does not trust things outside and hence ruins his own life by doubting every other thing in this world.I would suggest that whenever you read this book, read it with an open mind and try to follow rules for three months at least before discarding them forever. They may not work for you, but I still reiterate that just because they won't work for you does not mean that the bits of advice given in the book are not valuable. They have worked for me and I really hope they will work for you too.

Absolute Garbage
This is genuinely one of the worst books I've ever read, it literally made me angry at how awful this was. There is 0 "science" in this book. Everything in it is complete waffle with no actionable points, despite it claiming right at the start that it is a "practical" book.I can save you £2.79 by summarising the entire book in 3 lines (which I don't agree with):- Everyone needs to be rich to be happy- Everyone in the world can be rich- If you keep thinking you'll be rich, then you will beIf you still want to read it after this, check out Amazon's "Look Inside" feature first, if you don't like how vague the content is, I'm here to tell you it doesn't get any better. The only thing this book has done for me is to teach me to always use the "Look Inside" feature before I buy any other book in the future.

the formula for successful living
I have only just finished reading this little gem of a guide for improving your life and getting rich under any circumstances. I will be reading it again many times I'm sure because it is full of a wisdom that most self help guides and gurus have based themselves upon. They have used this material along with 'Think & Grow Rich' by Napoleon Hill - a true classic - and others and modernized it to make themselves fortunes. Ok, this is what the book is about.Since reading it, I can honestly say that my business has picked up and 'things' have started to happen; so go ahead read it and put what it says into action. As the author clearly states if you follow his formula to the letter you will not fail. What have you got to lose?
