AQUAPHOR RO-101S Compact Reverse Osmosis Water Filter - Under Sink Filtration System

Having tried twice before tried to install an under sink water filter, both of which leaked immediately after installation I went for the Aquaphor RO 101s. It has been in a month without leaking, provides pure drinking water due to the reverse osmosis system and is very compact. It does not require electricity to function and the filters are simple to change as it has a twist lock system.Highly recommended.

The item what I got is possibly RO-101S EU but I don’t know why I did… I wanted the one what’s on the photo meaning the ONE with the little LIGHTS that show when to changed the filter

Looks great on the surface, but it turns out that when we hooked it up the mains water kept letting-by through the drain of the system I.e. the stop valve on the system to prevent the wastage of water doesn’t work. We tried all sorts to get it going but although the valve could be heard engaging it was still draining water when the tap was off. Emailed Aquaphor and we still haven’t received a response. It’s been about 2-3 days. I certainly won’t be holding my breath.

Had this for just over 6 months now in the UK. Kettle and iron are totally lime scale free. You can really feel the difference in the quality of water. A bit challenging to install but if you watch the online videos and read the instructions carefully, you will be done in 2-3hours. Make sure you pay attention on how to rotate filters before first use.Great value for money, times better than having fliter jugs for water.

So far we have just installed the filter system but it does say that reverse osmosis system need to ‘pre fill’ the tank. So despite having high pressure water supply, without the filled water tank this process will still only provide a trickle.
