Fido always has the best jars!!!

I bought two of the smaller Bormioli Fido jars for myself about a year ago and then I just recently bought two more larger Bormioli jars to fill with treats for Christmas gifts.These jars are well made with solid clasps and thick rubber rings to keep your food fresh. The glass is thick, very substantial, a heavyweight jar. I love them, no complaints. Wish I had a few more!

They are the Cadillac of jars. I use them for making pickles, kimchi, and lately overnight oats (with Greek yogurt). Great for cereal, which goes stale here in Florida in 2 weeks if you don't eat it - in these jars, it's good as new for 3 - 6 months. I also keep flour and dried beans in them. I have (3) .75 liters, (3) 1.5 liters, (2) 2 liters. They won't leak unless you put the gaskets in the dishwasher. I unknowingly did this, and it leaked, MY bad. But why would you turn kimchi or pickles upside down anyway?!? They still ferment perfectly, and gasket still tight. Also keep in mind, they suggest you replace the gasket if used for fermenting, which I had. I recently bought two 6-packs of gaskets for like $10 here, a good investment to hopefully prevent future issues, but no more dishwasher. Someone here said the metal rusts. I've had a few jars for years, never happened. And I didn't even hand dry them. But if you do hand wash and hand dry (recommended), that will definitely eliminate that possibility. Bottom line, pretty, very sturdy, well-crafted and designed (squarish a huge plus), and most of all... endless and effective utility.

I really like these I have used this brand before. Right now I’m using it for for meaning apples which I swirl it every morning and release it to allow it to breathe. I also like using these in my refrigerator a storage for my ferments. Dishwasher safe!

Exactly as described...nice snug closure...keeps my grains fresh.

Pretty and funtional

love these jars and I have purchased them in every size option. I like the 'squareness' of the jar because it gives a great option for storage without wasting shelf space. Highly recommend them. I hope they are still available in the future, the larger size I purchased was the last one!
