Very good, sturdy construction for a low cost.
I got this to finaly replace the basic ball chuck that came in a set of air tools with my compressor. It good old to have the chuck kept in place with one hand, operate the laver with the other and than have to take it off and check the pressure with a separete gauge few times to inflate one tire properly. With this inflator it all goes away, and it becomes one hand fast & easy operation.I have no proplems with clearence to fit the chuck properly on any of my vechicles, but i see it might be a problem for some smaler wheels that have a little clearance around the valves. The gauge on my inflator is spot on, so again no issue here since some reviewers indacated a problem in this area. Mine is spot on compared to two other gauges I used for a long time. The PSI markings are a little small and spread a little to far, but it's not an issue that will take a star away.Inflator feels and looks to made well. Should outlast several vechicles or even a compressor in it's life, but we'll see about that. That said, for the money, it's is one of the best compressor attachments I have got so far.Five stars with no doubt.PS: I don't know why some buyers ecpected it to come with a quick connect, for the price really it's not a thing to complain. Besides a set (4 pcs) of 1/4" quick connects with a quick connect adapter for the compressor or your hose goes for as low as $7 here on amazon or any of your local hardware stores. And a set like this will provide for 4 tools, so really a cost per tool is little over $1 - so be serious! Campbell Hausfeld MP2920 5-Piece 1/4-Inch Quick Conn Kit

Great tire inflator/pressure gauge
I own a compressor for woodworking and kept thinking it would be nice to be able to use the compressor to top off the pressure in my tires. Prior to this I typically would fill my tires at the gas station or have it checked during oil changes or other such servicing of my vehicle. I was hoping to find something that had both a pressure gauge and a trigger mechanism for filling the tire.My search at local stores was not very fruitful as anything I found was either just a simple adapter with no trigger and gauge or was incredibly expensive if I found the features I wanted. I found several such items on Amazon and finally settled on this one due to its price. I picked this up for $12 recently. The unit feels very solidly built. It comes with a threaded connector so you have to pick up your own adapter for quick release air connections. After putting on a little plumbers tape and snugging down the adapter I took this out to the garage and plugged it in. At 100 PSI on the compressor output there were no leaks from either the connector or from the unit itself. I'll probably operate it at lower pressures than that, but it's a good first test. When I connected it to the schrader stems on my tires it clamped on snugly and gave a good seal. The pressure gauge quickly popped up with the current pressure and it seemed pretty accurate compared to what my other pressure gauge said. The trigger mechanism worked easily enough and filled up the tire. The pressure release button also worked well. All in all I'm very happy with this, it's definitely worth the investment for the price point I picked it up at. Because I have this now I'll probably be checking and maintaining my tire pressure a lot more frequently now.

It works great if you fix or replace the chuck
Like other purchasers, I found the air chuck on this gauge to be unacceptable. It's cheaply made and leaks on every valve stem I tried.I tried reducing the thickness of the silicon gasket, as others have recommended, but that didn't work for me. Ultimately, I cut off the chuck and replaced it with a standard NPT quick-release fitting to which I attach either a Milton S693 long-handle chuck or a CTA 1930 locking chuck. The latter is TONS better than the cheap chuck CH uses. Both are available from Amazon, and they work great. (Note: if you replace the chuck, ensure that you buy one that's made for inflator gauges -- like the two I recommend here. Otherwise, you won't be able to read the tire pressure through the gauge.)Except for the chuck, the rest of the gauge is great. It's lightweight and easy to use. The hose is a bit stiff, but I won't mark it down for that because it swivels easily and I've never had problems getting the chuck into position. And the gauge is easy to read and accurate. It agrees exactly with two digital gauges I use. I also like the vent button on the side that lets me off excess pressure, if needed. On balance, it's fine for light residential use, provided you either modify or replace the chuck.

Works as expected.
Had to replace an old worn out and unsafe inflator. Came ready to use out of the package. Appears to be good quality and is easy to read gauge.

Does as intended.
Works well. The gauge is off by a few psi. Not enough to cause a problem for a home user though.
