Pretty decent entry level stethoscope. You can hear sounds alright, just have to really be in the right spot. I'm not sure if the diaphragm shape actually helps with anything. The ear pieces fit pretty good and are a little squishy for more comfort.

Littman says it all. I would have loved this doing nightly vitals for a ward of 30 patients. The shape of the head is perfect for BPs. I bought my first Littmann after moving to ICU. Littmann is the best brand made. Great graduation present for new nurses! If I were an MD I would go with the original style but this one does it all just as well, lung sounds, abdominal sounds. It stacks up with the best. This one is light and rugged so would be great when jumping off the bus to the ground or bumping against bed side rails. You can't beat any Littman.
