Worth the price...
Not too heavy and well-made, I've had them for a few years, and they still work great! The sound is clear and bright.

Perfect lightweight stethoscope!
Perfect for the price! Lightweight. I honestly forget that I’m wearing it around my neck when I’m charting. Soft ear pieces. Better than the high dollar stethoscopes.

Fantastic Sound Quality for Heart & Lung Sounds - Wish it Had a Carring Case
I'm a nurse and I need a good stethoscope for listening to heart and lung sounds. I also need a stethoscope for taking manual blood pressures. The ADC Adscope is great as far as listening to heart sounds. It's clear as a bell. You can tell the bell portion is high quality - its built like a Littman. Compared to many stethoscopes, the tubing on this one is rubbery. I can't say that I like that feature - it may prove to be harder to clean than the more vinyl tubing of other stethoscopes. Also, there's no carrying case. Sure, I plan on wearing this around my neck most of the time, but its less pretentious to keep it in a storage case on your way to work. Plus it stays cleaner that way. Wow - I love how snug the earplugs fit into my ears. What a great stethoscope for the money. Fantastic sound. Awesome purchase.

great price and a great scope.
This is my first ADC and I am glad that my first experience is such a good one. I have always used Littmans and this scope is as good as my cardiology. lung and heart sounds are crisp in quite environments and still good when it is noisy. Taking blood pressures with accuracy even in noisy environments. I was suprised at the narrow and what seems to be a lesser quality tube when it is paired with such a nice head and pressured diaphram. I have found that this is not an issue. This scope is light weight and sits around your neck well. When at work my scope stays there unless I am using it. the ear buds are comfortable and my ears are not sore after a long day of assessments. I would recommend this specific scope to anyone. The price great. I am considering purchasing another to put up for use later or to have available for gift giving.

Good scope, great service!
I ordered this tactical black scope almost 6 years ago and used daily. Perfect mix of quality, weight, comfort, sound and price. Ive used littmann previously. They make great stuff but the high end ones are too heavy and their lightweight models are too cheesy. This one fits right in between. The bell cover finally came apart and after being unable to find parts to order, contacted ADC. They responded same day to my email and sent out the parts I needed free of charge that was delivered a few days later. Great service. However, the black coating on the bell will fail and scratch off after a year or 2. They don't include cosmetic issues with their lifetime warranty. They were kind enough to help me out but I would suggest avoiding this particular model and stick with silver bell models. They are bulletproof....

Great stethoscope, if you're into that sort of thing.
Reason's this stethoscope helps me to provide better care: Reduced background noises vs double sided stethoscope (I don't work with children so I don't need that style). It's unique enough to not "disappear" if I set it down/leave it at work. Soft/comfortable rubber tips - I use this thing about 100 x daily and my ears are fine at the end of the day. Heart/lung sounds are clear and allow me to more easily identify and understand problems. I do rapid fire assessments on up to 35 people at a time, and if I hear something troubling I can refer them for a higher level of care (EKG). I've already ended up screening out an apparently healthy guy who needed CPR an hour later - partly because this scope clearly let me understand this this patient was very abnormal. Reasons this scope may not work for you: You're hung up on buying a Littman because if you don't you think people will judge you. You want a double sided stethoscope because you think they look cooler (or maybe you actually need one for some legitimate reason). You have poor hygiene and your earwax could show up easier on the black eartips. You're cheap and want to buy one of those crappy, double tubed monstrosities that don't do a good job but look impressive to patients.

Good bang for the buck
This is an affordable quality alternative to the more expensive Littmann, I own a Littmann Master Cardiology 3, It was given to me as a gift, so I am not trashing Littmann, I'm just saying that the ADC scopes are quality scopes That won't break the bank, and their customer services is outstanding. The scope came with a total of three ear pieces And a name tag, the name tag was a thin plastic snap on, which broke 5 minutes in to a trauma call. The ear piece came off due to getting caught on something or another , no big deal I had two more sets so the day was not lost. The other thing is the scope is not balanced so it does slide down when wearing it around your neck, but I have gotten used to this, and it is not a deal breaker by any means. The customer service rep Kelly Nichols upon finding out my situation sent me a replacement ear piece, a different name badge, and a clip to hold your scope to your hip, she said she did not send me the replacement parts because I asked her to, she said that ADC would rather have happy customers, and that he company stands behind there products, now that's service

It works in reverse!
Emergency medicine physician, 8 years and counting. Been looking for a solid replacement for my current stethoscope which basically died on me, but unable to cough up 200 USD for the Littman model that I fancied. Stumbled across this beauty, and never looked back! Lightweight and doesn't even feel any heavier during 24-hour shifts. The sleek, extended tubing is a blessing for the back when taking vitals and stuff. The sound, which was heavily maligned by other reviews, may be due to the fact that it works in reverse, i.e. light contact is a bell function, deep pressure is a diaphragm (standard) one. It all takes getting used to, but the sounds are clear when used properly. Heck, the bell function was like listening to a bass amp! Tac Black color. Released the Batman in me. LOL Do wish this beaut was more available!

Es liegt gut in der Hand, die Oliven stören im Ohr nicht, man hört alles klar und deutlich. Ich nutze dieses Stethoskop täglich im Rettungsdienst und es hat mich nie enttäuscht. Klare Empfehlung!

Very insulating ear tips, amazing quality, not second to most of other stethoscope I tried. It makes the difference in a noisy pre-hospital enviroments withouth the bulkiness of rappeport style scopes. This will be THE choice if I will ever need to buy another stethoscope.
