No more squatting for me!
I was so hesitant about ordering this product. I love to camp but hate squatting to do my business. I looked at the product that has you stand up and pee like a man. Um, no. I just couldn't wrap my mind around it...lol. Anyway, I decided to try this along with a little popup shower type tent for privacy. My son and his father laughed at me, but oh, well. They don't have to squat to pee so who cares! It is light and easy to carry. I put this and the popup in one of those shopping bags from a local restaurant and had no issue taking it down through the woods at the river. I was a little worried because it does appear very flimsy. However, it worked great. I would not use this if you are larger than 150 lbs though. But, if you are a smaller lady or child, love to camp, and hate to squat, go ahead and give it a try. Hopefully, you will be pleased too.

Once you get over the fear, it's GREAT!
So, it's a toliet...Not much to say about it....Its EXTREMELY light and folds very nicely for storage and travel. It's rated to hold 250lbs and has lived up to that fact. The only thing you have to get used to is understanding it's not your porcelain toliet so it wobbles and it feels like it's going to give out but it hasn't and I'm confident it won't. YOU MUST also purchase one of the popup "bathroom/shower" tents...they will run around $25-30 and with this in conjunction with the toliet, you have yourself a super compact bathroom while traveling. Imagine driving down the highway and you see a car pulled over on the shoulder and as you get closer, you see a popup tent! Lol....I would absolutely break out this and the tent if I needed to go while traveling as opposed to stopping at a rest stop just to sit on a disgusting toliet seat. Great purchase.

Perfrct
Holds up sturdy for people weighing 150-165 lbs easy. Is comfortable enough to use for up to 1 hour if necessary. I bought it to use for outdoor camping and v steams. Folds easy for storage and transport. Light in weight also.

what a bummer we were trying to enhance all our camping trips
super short, unsteady, the bag fell off every time no matter how much we secured it meaning you know what comes spewing out the sides when it drops. The top piece doesn't stay put and the main plastic toilet cracked and broke the first time we sat on it. We tried to jerry rig the bag so it would stay put by wrapping it over the entire seat and tying it in a knot underneath but this meant you lost some of the height on your bag and your potty business splashes back at you. Finally we found it stayed a little better if you put the edges of the bag over the toilet and then onto the sliver holders and press the whole toilet on-top of that it did stay when we tried that 3rd method but seems like to much work for a portable toilet Can anyone recommend a better option as we are past 30 days and cannot return :(

Collapses at the most inopportune times
I have never used a portable toilet before and I didn't want to invest a lot before I discovered what I want in a commode. I have a camper van and I don't have to run out in the middle of the night to pee. I've been using this with trash compactor bags, which I highly recommend. They are thick and won't leak and reach all the way to the ground without any chance of falling. I was satisfied with the glorified pee in a bag setup more than I thought I would be until this one time I had to pull over for an emergency stop that was most certainly not just pee. I'm not particularly heavy, 175 lbs., but when I sat on it with my full weight it collapsed. Luckily there wasn't any mess due to the oversized bag I was using, but I still don't trust it to actually sit on. You can just lightly hover over it or balance on it. It has collapsed a couple more times since then even when I wasn't putting my full weight on it. I really like the folding seat design. It's lightweight and easy to store, but I will be replacing it with a sturdier version for my next trip. The plastic of the seat is too soft and it will slip off the metal frame at the worst moment.

great for emergencies and on the road
Lifesaver! With 5 kids we have to plan for the unexpected. We keep this in the back of the SUV for emergencies. Have only had to use it 3 times but kids were fairly comfortable using it since it felt more like a real toilet. I tried the portable potties for toddlers but they were not used to the feel and would not go! I do use this with bio bags and diapers we've outgrown to catch the liquids. We also have the bio powder but haven't tried that yet. We also purchased a shower pop up tent in case we need more privacy. It's a tad smaller than the "round" shaped toilet seats you would buy for the real thing. That's not a bad thing as we were able to set up inside the main cabin of the SUV between third and 2nd row seats when 2nd row seat was folded out of the way. It's very lightweight and goes without saying if your kids can't balance themselves you will have to make sure it won't tip while they're on it. Worked for my 2 year olds as well as 8 year olds. I don't remember the weight limit but make sure you check as it doesn't look like it would hold more than 200 lbs. Set up does take a few seconds to get the seat clipped on and the bag secured so don't wait until the very last minute! The seat comes with a bag "holder" to keep the bag from slipping. With 7 people it's great to have an extra toilet for camping, and even hotel rooms!

Useful for camping and on your boat. Using with Doodi bags enhances the usefulness.

The plastic seat looks a little weak and may not hold heavyweights folllowing my intuition. I am 185 pounds for 5'9" tall, so there is no problems for me now, but I would start to worry for people over 230 pounds. I wonder if it was ever field tested for people that are more big and heavy.
