I’m not sure why this product is gendered unless men typically have larger heads than women? Either way, as a large-headed woman it fits me perfectly. More importantly, this headband does its job very well! I previously used terry cloth headbands when working out and would have sweat pouring down my face. Not so with this headband. For such a thin piece of fabric it is incredibly absorbent! Highly recommended if you are a heavy head sweater like me.

This is really excellent. Just what I needed. It is soft, easy to wear and soaks up the sweat like no other.

Decided to purchase a headband for my workouts. Highly recommend this product as it is very comfortable, stylish, and does a great job of soaking up the sweat.

My husband is a personal trainer so I'm always buying fitness materials to help his business. I purchased this for him. He complains about the sweat getting in his eyes during workouts so I purchased this headband because he hates cotton sweatbands. This bad works perfectly! He wears it daily for his run. I wash it out on my hands to ensure he doesn't break out from a build up of dirt. It dries quickly. I recommend this to anyone who sweats while working out.

My husband was look ing for a headband he can wear at work. He is an HVAC Tech and has to wear a helmet however it makes him sweat alot. He needed something durable, stretchy and wide enough to not only cover his forehead but the whole front area. Thankfully, after looking through pages and pages he came across these. They were very affordable and came in a two pack which is always great! He uses them every day for work and is even wearing them to go out to run now lol He loves them and I would definitely recommend this product!

Every now and then, you run across a product that does what it says. For under $10 dollars I figured "what could I lose"? I am currently on medication that causes me to sweat profusely under light duty cases. I hate it when you can't see because the sweat is running down your face and into your eyes. I have tried the nice absorbent cooling towels that work great but are somewhat bulky. I was going to Disney world and wanted something to keep the sweat from rolling down my forehead and this fit the ticket. As other reviewers stated, the material is absorbent, and is sewn together to make a loop. It is however not finished on the edges but I believe that it is a benefit. The material folds easily to the thickness and size you want and if it had sewn edges then it would cause a seam. I bought this to go under my hat at the sweat ban. This fit perfectly under the hat without showing (see photo) and even provided enough added friction to keep my hat on during some of the rides. By taking the time to place the sweat band on correctly, I also came close to eliminating "Hat Hair" from taking my hat on and off.One final benefit came during the night. I use a CPAP to sleep and my wife likes to watch TV while in bed. She has bought me countless sleeping masks but none fit because of the style of the mask I use. This headband fit perfectly over my eyes and form fitted the contours of the mask sealing out the light. The only negative I have is that I did not see the posting where the seller offered a two-pack for just slightly more than the single. I would have gladly spent the extra money for an additional band.

Not just for Dudes! I'm in an all-female Roller Derby League and needed something to keep the sweat out of my eyes but that was thin enough to fit under my helmet with the appropriate internal padding. There are plenty of similar looking head-bands marketed to Women but if you look at the back - the fabric comes together to form a knot. Cute for Yoga but I was worried that this would make my helmet feel too tight or uneven for Derby.Then I saw The Self Pro - Uband "Best Guys Sweatband" here on Amazon and thought - "Why not give it a try?"Fast shipping from Self Pro and great customer follow up - it arrived just in time for my Scrimmage practice!I was thrilled when I opened it and saw that the back was sewn together and a very flat strip of the same thin, black material was wrapped around and sewn on for extra strength but it was still completely flat. During practice - it worked great for its purpose (sweat out of your eyes) and when I took it off I was surprised that my hair was not the usual hot mess it is when I take my helmet off. Also - a quick hand wash/rinse in the sink, hang dry and the band was ready for the next day!JD

I'm old school for most things. I have always used traditional sweat bands for workouts. By the looks of it, this new type of sweatband was a turnoff. First it appears too thin to capture much perspiration and its design seemed to be mainly to appeal to the vanity of the wearer. But the stretchiness attracted me since I have a large head and traditional headbands are one-size-fits-all, which means it doesn't fit so well unless you are in the middle of the range. So despite some misgivings I gave it a try. It is just what I needed. Fits comfortably and absorbs all the perspiration on my brow. I am done with traditional sweatbands.
