It's fine
I'm a little baffled by the perfect, five-star reviews of the Stockholm. It's definitely a beautiful speaker, huge, imposing and well-built, but the sound is very very flat and thin. At low volumes (i.e. background music) there is almost no bass whatsoever. It truly sounds like you're listening to one of those pocket-clip bluetooth speakers. At higher volumes, the lows and mids start to shine and the system really opens up but not everyone listens to music at 80-90% volume all the time. If you're looking for a "party" speaker, this is probably a good option. If you're looking for a speaker to listen to in the background or while guests are over, I personally was disappointed. Another thing that bugged me is that the Vifa app on the app store is Chinese-language only so I had no options to play with the equalizer (if there even is one, I don't know because I can't read Chinese). Calls to Vifa went totally unanswered about this so I decided to send it back.

Good companion to the Vifa Copenhagen
The sound is definitely an upgrade from the smaller Vifa Copenhagen 2.0. The sound signature is basically the same (roughly flat, crystal clear), but the bass is much better. While the volume of bass is not any louder, it extends much lower due to the built-in subwoofer. I can feel the vibrations, while this was not the case with the Copenhagen. Is it worth $1300? If you just care about sound quality, probably not, since I'm sure a cheaper 2.1 system would sound similar. However, it's definitely a good value it if you like the minimalist design, or if you already have a Copenhagen that you can link together for wireless, multi-room playing. The price is noticeably cheaper than the equivalent offerings from B&O and Naim. The main risk is that Vifa drops support for the Vifa Home app in the future, which is important for managing the device. The app for the Vifa Oslo was discontinued (removed from the app store) within 5 years of launch, which reflects poorly on the company. The app for Vifa Stockholm still seems to be receiving updates on IOS after 4 years, and I hope it continues for many more years.

The most detailed audio on sound bar
Vifa is an amazing company. Their products are at the top of audio quality. Being an audiophile enthusiast I’m very picky with the speakers I buy. No portable speaker is a true audiophile systems same as sound bars and mostly all wireless speakers aren’t either. But they can be very enjoyable equipment for when we can have access our audiophile systems. The Vifa Stockholm 2.0 is the most audiophile like sound I’ve ever encounter on a speaker this size and price. I have it on the wall so I pull a chair and seat 3 to 4 feet away right in the center of it. Simply amazing! The detail and stereo field at that distance is great. The resolution and power of the Stockholm won’t disappoint. If you are looking for and audiophile oriented sound this speaker is for you. If you are looking for a party extra bass animal get something else.
