Directed Electronics Alarm Backup Battery (520t) - 1 Pack - CAR

Works just like its supposed to…Directed Electronics is always solid

(this review I wrote for the alarm itself: this device is just the battery backup - should the burglar try to shut off the alarm by removing the car battery). I had this alarm professionally installed; and I’m glad I did. It took him two hours (SUV); and no doubt it wudda taken me two days to me to install/screw it up and then I’d call him anyway. I now know there are various options (like 30/60-second delay auto lock); but my installer said there were none. . The company is not responding to me, and seems not to want to talk to layman/customers – – only the installer who is not responsive to me. So I am left in a lurch. Most notable is the fact that the alarm remote won’t operate very far - half what my car keys do. operates at far less distance than my car key. Sometimes it doesn’t lock/unlock at all after sometimes until five or six presses - even standing next to the car.

Purchased product had it professionally installed and it failed to work and can’t get a refund or exchange
