Herb Pharm St. John's Wort Topical Oil - 1 Ounce

Love herb pharm products! I use this as a topical oil in my pain cream salve. Beautiful red color so you know it’s a great infused oil. Will buy again!

I purchased the small bottle to see if it worked as i had read online that it was good for sciatica. This is the first time i have had sciatica and its the worst pain i have EVER had, and i had an all natural birth! I wasnt sure how to use it so i read a few forums and just found what worked for me. I would rub it from my tail bone all the way down to my toes, only on the back of my leg, three times a day. I would take about 4-5 drops per section and I would rub it in until it felt a little warm. My left foot had gone numb, so i would rub this on the bottom of my foot before going to bed and it helped a lot. Now this didnt take the pain away it simply made it duller somehow. At times the back of my thigh was so sensitive that all i could do was pat it on, but it would calm the pain down a lot. After 10 weeks my sciatica is almost gone, but i still rub it in the same areas at night before bed. The one thing i didnt like was that it didnt have a dropper and since i had to mostly lay on my side it got a little messy. After realizing it was working so well i purchased the bigger bottle, the bigger bottle has a picture of a dropper but one is not included. I ended up using a medicine dropper i already had and that made it a lot easier to use, and i was wasting less product. I have been using this for about a month now and i just wish i would have known about it when it first started as the first two weeks were the worse. During this time my father hurt his elbow and it was really swollen, he also started applying this to the swollen area three times a day and after about a week he was back to normal. I definitely recommend this, now from reading the reviews i know it doesnt work for everyone but i was so desperate for something to work that i tried everything i could find. I would suggest you purchase the smaller bottle to see if it works for you. This was money well spent for me! And since it works so well for so many other things i know it wont go to waste.

I use this as a base with coconut oil for a burn salve, usually mixing it with calendula and sometimes comfrey. Great for sunburns or accidental burns in the kitchen. I recommend this for my patients with shingles and it works great. I have also had a patient with CRPS try it and he notices an improvement in the pain of his feet. I have had some diabetics try it for neuropathy but the results were not as good. Excellent quality and my patients are able to make their own oils and salves much cheaper that prepared products and they can customize the strength to their needs for a fraction of the cost.

I do NOT wish to see this product somehow become prescription only and/or more costly than it is right now! And you KNOW when people start raving about a product, these are the sort of things that happen. I have struggled with some form of acne/skin breakouts since puberty. Only twice in the last 35 years have I been able to get it under control and that was with Accutane, a highly dangerous and highly priced medication with somewhat negative "side effects"! Long story. Suffice it to say, I have tried dozens of OTHER remedies to no avail. An online friend actually SENT me a bottle of this to try. She said she even used it for wrinkles..... While it IS an "oil", it has NOT left my face feeling greasy! And it softens as it heals and it is just marvelous. One does not need a LOT at a time so 1 oz lasts a good while. I was assured that because it is completely natural that there is no worry of any contraindications to worry about either. If you have serious, hard to treat skin breakouts (or wrinkles) or maybe various other issues, give it a try. It's MY little miracle in a brown glass bottle. OH, it has been helping to improve the scarring as well. WOW!

This is a lovely St. John’s wort oil in a beautiful olive oil base. It is pure, smells nice and definitely helped relieve my shingles rash. The only issue I have is with the bottle…the photos show that there’s a dropper in the bottle, but it does not come with a dropper, so I thought this was a little misleading as pouring from the bottle can be wasteful.

I’m in Canada and bought it initially to fix the skin on my fingertips (was developing an allergy from washing too many dishes with harsh soap and really hot water). It worked for that. One day my now-ex told me it works depression. Used it when she left me, and she wasn’t lying! I have a nervous stomach and insomnia. Recently took magnesium with dinner (for digestion and sleep) and applied this before sleeping. I spent the next full day super happy and couldn’t figure out why! My mom has had similar results too. Said she felt happy the whole day. I’ve read works as a mild to moderate level antidepressant and even helps with ocd. Don’t use it everyday, give a gap. Check with your doc if you’re on meds. St. John’s Wort Oil is really a godsent.

My mother has been suffering from Sciatica and though I tried numerous ointments, this Oil has by far given much relief. Please note this does completely remove the pain, however with regular massage one would find some comfort.

The product was delivered on time and was neatly packed, but I did not get any relief from its application for my joint pains. Indian ayurvedic oils provide more relief.
