Have used flax seed for years. Love this product and the many uses on cereal, baking, smoothies, yogurt, on ice cream, and how it benefits the over all health. I'm aware of the pros and the cons with this product. I'm 81 years old! You decide.

Has more phytoestrogen precursors and the essential fatty acids flaxseed is known for than the golden variety. If you eat flax meal as a hot cereal or baking additive, the golden has more nutty butter notes in its flavor and aroma.

I used this to add to my keto recipes, for making bread and such. I really liked it as it gave a nice light nutty flavor. I did find another good use for this product too. I have Dobermans, and the females often become incontinent after spaying. This helps them with hormone balance to stop the incontinence, they love the flavor on their food too, with a dash of warm water. This product made everyone happy! Remember to refrigerate after opening as it can become rancid, I keep all of my bags in the freezer, and then it will be fresh for a good year. I hope this helps you!
