South Shore Versa Computer Desk with Hutch, Gray Maple

I absolutely love this desk It was heavy as hell getting it in the house but it was easy to put together I love the drawer space and the shelves on it I’m very pleased with how it looks and I’m glad I made the purchase and the fact that it was 50% off didn’t hurt either

I love this desk. When removing all the pieces it looked very overwhelming to put together. However the instructions were very easy to follow and very descriptive. It ended up being much easier than I first thought. It took some creativity but I was able to assemble it on my own. My only gripe is that the center support piece was damaged upon arrival. It does not affect the function of the desk. It just shows some cracks. Overall I’m incredibly happy with the quality and look of the desk.

It is exactly what I wanted. Smaller than my old desk so it fits better in my living area. Lots of storage and very sturdy. I would recommend this desk

It’s a nice looking table but not worth of the price. Bulky table which takes more than 4 hours to assemble. Low quality material ,wood boards have crumbly texture. Cardboard like wood which came off around the screws while assembling. It’s not gonna last or hold weight for longer time. If you ask for return you have to pay for return shipping and they never refund you your money back. Amazon is not responsible if seller denies your refund.

This is a very nice desk. The small size is perfect for a small bedroom. The assembly is not easy for everyone. You have to understand the parts labeling construct and the pictures in the instruction book (no explanations). I have put together a lot of IKEA furniture and this is on par with the more complex pieces or harder. The part numbers are faintly stamped on most of the pieces. I could not find them without assistance from the kind customer service. My son and I have put in 3 hours so far and will finish the drawers tomorrow. Most of that time was spent figuring out the instructions - the actual construction is not hard.

This is a good desk but it was very difficult to setup and it uses very poor hardware to attach the panels. As a result of this the sturdiness is not too great. Overall I would recommend it but just make sure to get help when setting it up and use the right tools because none is provided in the box. After it’s setup it stays in place but if you try to move it too much you will notice the issue of sturdiness.

The desk looks amazing and more importantly it is a great size, sturdy and with lots of storage compartments. The instructions for the building were relatively easy to follow with a couple of parts that were a little trickier to understand what they meant and also figuring out which piece was which (only later did i realize that they had a small letter marking on one of the thin sides of each piece). The reason why i didn't rate it a full 5 stars was because the pre-made holes sometimes were out of place (actually had to leave one piece without a screw since it didnt match at all) and some shelves and drawers ended up slightly scrooked for that same reason. Regardless, i was able to build the while thing and it looks great if you dont get into too much detail. Definitely worth its value.

Solid and sturdy desk, easy to put together (it took me 2 hours by myself) with clear instructions. Got it on sale for $200, great deal.

I cannot say enough positive things about South Shore furniture company. They offer and deliver on customer support. Their instructions are in drawing form and so detailed that even someone who has never put together a piece of furniture should have no trouble. I actually had fun putting it together, and a sense of pride when it was done ... both that I had done it myself, but also how great it looked. The desk I ordered is way better quality than expected. As described it was true to measurements and fits perfectly in my workspace. Easy to assemble and precise fittings made it a joy to do. Nice to know we have this made in Canada too. I applied thicker felt pads to the 6 floor points just for ease of movement. One of the drawer handle screws broke when tightening but I’m sure they will replace. The single box is very heavy and UPS destroyed the packaging so Amazon replaced. The second unit is perfect although I would rethink the protective corners or use 2 boxes for the desk.

The colour is great and the design is very beautiful. Lots of reviewers had mentioned scratches but I was hoping not to get some. Unfortunately my office desk did come with scratches. After assembling the desk, a small part broke while trying to move it closer to the wall. Anyway, I can live with that and I’m still happy with my purchase.
