Great little power supply
It is hard to find a 5v 8a power supply and especially one this small. There was a minor issue with USPS but both Amazon and the Seller were great to work with and got the problem resolved. I used this to replace a power supply in a network switch. The small form factor and exact voltage specs made this the obvious choice, now my switch is working again.

Works like a charm -- BUT there are no instructions
This power supply works great -- if you know what you are doing. If you don't know what you are doing, there are absolutely no instructions included with the device and you might not want to mess with this -- AC electricity can be dangerous. I'm no expert on electronics, and I had no problem figuring it out. But if you don't know how plugs are wired, you should learn a little before attempting to wire this up.

Works
Using it on my SDR reciever. Very low noise. Works just fine.

Works as intended
Update: Previously left a one star review about the power supply outputting 7v. In actuality, my multimeter was broken. It runs 5v nice and stead. Great for my application with LED light strips.

Assuming there is a language barrier.
I contacted the seller multiple times with a rather significant concern. I had 2 single board computers die in a matter of seconds and there's no explanation aside from the item in common: this. Multimeter showed 5.06v. Acceptable. But something happened that took em both out. So this one is the replacement via the automated Amazon return process. Idk if it makes a difference but I beefed up the input side with an EMI filter. So far it works. Do I really trust it, no. Will I run two devices at once? No way. Looking into using a low wattage desktop psu with breakout board moving forward Luckily everything was under replacement timeframes or there would have been some real issues. Beware

Construction looks good. Performance yet to be determined.
I have not powered it up yet, so I may change this later. The power supply is obviously an offline switching power supply. I am not sure of the topology of the design. You can see from the photographs that id does not have any safety approval markings. What little I was able to gather from looking in through the vents is that the AC enters through an EMC flilter consisting of a common mode chocke and a line to line cap. There appear to be emc filter caps from the power lines to ground as well. From there I see two a rectifier bridge feeding two 33uF capacitors. There is a high frequency transformer of some type. Without breaking the seal and opening the case, I would guess that the topology is a flyback. It is not obvious that there is a fuse on the primary inside the case, so I would assume that this needs to be added externially. It would be nice to know the size and type fuse required. There was no documentation that came with the supply. I will make sure that this power supply has a fuse in the AC input and that a safety ground wire is attached before I apply power.

Works as advertised.
Way smaller than i thought. Which is nice.
