will this work on the mac mini m1? i want to use 3 monitors.

Don't see why not I'm running three 4 k monitors 1x 32on a pluggable 4k and 2 x 28in using this startek kit through antek usb 3 powered hub on a w10 hp and w11 lg laptops both through thier usb3 ports the lg has 2 thunderbolt 4 ports which I can also use. The startech is a good piece of kit make sure you get branded dp cables.

But can it run Crysis?

How good is the quality, as good as HDMI?

I'm running two 27" 2560x1440 monitors from it and can see no visible difference what so ever. Although I am mainly using it for spreadsheets and web browsing. I did just try playing Doom - Ressurection of evil, it wouldn't let me select more thant 1920*1080 resolution but with Vsync on and 2x anti aliasing it was playable but slightly jerky.
