Convenient. Good price. Maybe tears easily.
Just learning to close wounds as an emergency preparedness skill. Soon will try pig flesh from a butcher shop and the I could compare. But for a first try, especially to practice during our weekend family trips, this is a whole lot more convenient and hygienic than room-temperature pork. But a few braided silk sutures did cut through the silicone if pulled tight. Can't really detect the advertised "mesh layer" but I guess it's there. So, recommended for anyone getting started, is is our case.

Ya get what ya pay for
The suture tore right through the silicon the first time I used it. I have friends who have other brands that seem to hold up better, but they were much more expensive. It works well if you don’t tighten the knots too tight. Ya get what ya pay for. It’s worked fine enough for me to practice but I will have to upgrade at some point.

Don’t bother!!! You’ll regret it
Product is not sturdy. It’s tears with almost every pass of the needle. And IF it doesn’t tear, once you throw the first knot, it rips right through. EVERYTHING rips through even a 4-0 monocryl !!!! I am very unhappy with the product. My money was wasted!!!!! I have the product 1star only because 0 stars is not an option
