Luxbird P38R 18W Waterproof Aquarium Refugium Light, Par38 LED Grow Light Bulb for Macro Algae Indoor Plants Greenhouse Hydroponics E26, Not Dimmable

I had high hopes for this light but after just 4 days the luxbird refugium light quit working on me. I am having trouble contact customer service as well. The company contacted me about the issues and how to contact them in the future. They are making it right. Seems like a great company and their customer service is the best I have dealt with. Ordered back in December of 2019 and worked great and had great growth for about a month. The light just stop working after only a month and the company "claims" there will send a replacement on there website BUT not true at all after multiple emails to the company and following the formant to get a replacement they just ignore you. So in the end I wouldnt get this light, only last a month and the company will just ignore you for the replacement for the defective light.

Most amazing refrig light I ever bought! My plants literally doubled in size within a month. Dead mangroves from shipping came back to life, and my copepod population tripled due to how healthy everything in my sump is. Only leave it running for about 5/6 hours a day opposite of my DT tanks lights. I found the most growth and success with this. If your looking for an amazing product without breaking the bank this is it!

I've had this bulb for a few weeks now and it's been growing chaeto amazingly well. This bulb has a very poor cooling design and gets very hot. You need to have active cooling for this bulb if you have any expectations of it lasting. I'm using the POWSEED 36W Universal AC Power Adapter with a regular 12 volt computer case fan to keep mine cool. I'm giving it 4 stars as it should have a better heatsink for reliability.

I bought this for my refugium. The leds are covered to be protected from water, but didn't seem very bright.

I ha e been using two of these lights on the refugium for my 130gal reef tank. They work better then expected.Furthermore, I did have one light quit working after about 3 months and I contacted the manufacturer via the info provided on their warranty card and they responded with no problems and sent me a replacement right away.A+++++ customer service!

I bought this product in May of 2019 for my reef sump tank. It is very appealing because of the price and “splash” proof design. The production of 38 par from the light is awesome too. My chaeto algae was doing great until it STOPPED working at the end of June 2019. I’ve contacted the company and I have yet to receive a reply that I know of. I’m hoping this specific light is the exception in product line. My reef tank requires light and while I don’t have it, my corals, fish and entire tank in general suffers because of the absence of this light.

This light has been great so far!!! For the price you really can’t beat the growth! Put it over my refugium and works fantastic!!!!

Works as described. A month of use so far 12 hours a night. Still going strong.
