Cutting Board for Meat

This has been a great addition to our kitchen. This was a gift for my wife, as she was requesting a new board with a reservoir to capture juices when placing a Turkey/Chicken/Roast/Loin on a board to rest. This comes pre-oiled, is it is ready to go out of the box(I always give a little wash and rinse just to remove any residue from packing and shipping that might be unwanted). Design: The tenderizer-styled cuts in the middle of the board are great when you're butchering the bird or slicing the roast. The meat stays in its place making for nicer, more uniform cuts with less chance of slipping and cutting yourself. If I had to say anything negative, it is that the textured area takes a little bit of tedium to thoroughly clean, but it is a small gripe. It is also very heavy, but not really a big demerit. Just beware that if you're used to lighter boards, you could get in a hurry and decide to move it one-handed. I did this once and was not ready for the weight of it and almost dropped it. Just a friendly reminder. :) All in all, a good product

I'm getting into BBQ and needed a quality cutting board with lots of juice channels. This board takes care of any juices coming from the meat I'm smoking. I cut up a tri-tip and the juice didn't make it to the outer ring. This board does the job! The pyramid area in the center holds the meat in place so it will not slide around on you when making cuts. This is a thick board with some heft to it, so it should last a while. To help insure that I also bought bamboo cutting board oil which I haven't needed to use yet as it comes conditioned by the seller. Get a brush for cleaning the pyramid area, you will rip up a sponge getting that clean, but all in all it cleans up well. This board is well worth the money spent.

I have been looking for a carving board large enough to hold a turkey so I gave this a try. The board is heavy but not as heavy as a hardwood cutting board, I must say that the channel that runs around the board is quite deep and the top has a cut out center with spikes to hold the food in place is a plus. I found that this board makes carving ease to do without having the food sliding I was able to prepare the carcass for stock at a later date where I use to have to fight with it to prepare the bone for later.

Nice, thick and easy to clean block. Use this all the time and love how it feels and looks. Really substantial and sustainable, (Bamboo). We really like the grab side for large cuts of whatever.

It is stable (heavy) and appears well mad, I think it is a bargain.

Juice from the turkey went all over the table first time I used it. Put paper towels along the edge the second time and that solved the problem. Otherwise it's well made and perfect Size for a 14 pound turkey.

This cutting board is very well made. The diamond cuts in the middle of the board hold meats in place not sliding around when trying to cut. Also the grooves for the juices are deep so there is no mess. Easy to clean up. It's a heavy board. Love it.
