Awesome portable range bench
First, the initial setup had a couple of issues that I wish the instructions would have addressed. Primarily the head size of the leg mount bolts and nuts would be nice to know. Likewise, for those of us who are not that handy, some instruction about how tight the leg bolts should be would be appreciated. I believe that it would be possible to overtighten those bolts thereby making the legs immovable. Another issue is the plastic disc that, truly, must be used between the legs and the platform should have more explanation behind it, and the box should have several replacements for it. Let's be honest, that disc will be lost.Second, this bench allowed me to sight in my rifle without having to go to the range. The advantage of this is that, if you live in an area with wide-open lands, you don't have to deal with range dudes. First use was in soft sand, but the bench didn't care. The wide stance of the three legs sunk in evenly and provided a great platform. It is set for ambidextrious shooting. The front end rest, which I believe is truly infinitely adjustable, was quick to set at the best height for my use, and it stayed there. The fact it can be removed makes the bench very versatile. The pivoting ability is an added bonus as long as wherever you pivot is downrange. Safety first!

Nice, sturdy bench at a reasonable price
This bench is very solid and sturdy. I like the simple instructions that basically show the order of assembly and an exploded diagram of where the parts go. Assembly is easy and just requires a few simple wrenches (7/16, 1/2 and 9/16 as I recall) and a little common sense, like not over-tightening the bolts. There is an adjusting stabilizer lever that you need to make sure is not too tight but puts just enough pressure on the table frame to stabilize it. It is not a one-hand carry stand because it is a little heavy and the upper portion with seat and table lift off of the pedestal base so you have two main pieces. It is heavy because it is solid and sturdy which I will take over flimsy and light any day. It is better suited for putting in the car trunk or pickup and driving to the setup point than carrying a considerable distance. I imagine that is how most people use it anyway. I am very pleased and have no complaints.

Love it but WATCH OUT!
Warning!!! I BROKE IT. This could give it a 4 star rating but I am in love with this bench. When putting this together there is a lever to crank up on that pushed a bolt up to lock the table into a more secure position. I did this without turning the bolt down. So right when I got it installed I pulled up on the lever thinking that it will lock into place like a vice grip wrench. It pushed up on the table top with enough pressure as to break one of the small bolts holding the top onto the frame. My fault but no instructions about this lever. However when you look at it you can figure it out yourself but I didn't realize my Hulk strength would bust off the bolt. It isn't very big. So I just went to my friend and had him weld it back on the frame in that one spot. The lever when adjusted correctly snugs the bench top so that it is very secure. Also don't lose the big plastic washer that is loose when you take apart the base from the main frame. This bench is the bomb. It is sturdy. Easy and smooth to turn. Makes you feel like your in a turret. I wish there was a little more room between the seat and the table however, so if you have a good sized tool shed protecting your tools from the rain so they don't get rush on them it might be a tight fit. Sitting too far forward makes it a bit tricky to use a sand bag.

Awesome Bench
i typically shoot off hand or prone but decided i needed to upgrade to get the lady into shooting with me. This thing is ROCK solid/ sturdy. I'm 6'6" and 240lbs, most things i buy like this feel like theyr going to crumble under me but not this. The swivel feature on this works great and feels very smooth. Also it folds up fairly flat to hang up on the garage wall. Took me about 15 mins to assemble. I couldnt have built a shooting bench this nice for the same amount of money.

Husband loves it
The box was so tattered that we thought pieces would be missing or broken. Thankfully it was all there. Easy to put together My husband loves it.
